Westjet Christmas "Miracle"
In the spirit of the season, I thought I'd post this. It isn't specifically Negril related, but it is travel related and WestJet does fly to JA, sooooo....
How would you like to be on this flight??

Re: Westjet Christmas "Miracle"
that is so awesome I bet the guy that asked for underwear and socks was peeved.
Re: Westjet Christmas "Miracle"
Totally AWESOME! They are such a fun airline. The flight attendant was so funny on one of our flights down! His antics during the safety demo were hilarious, but we all watched and knew what they were! Really impressive! What fun!
Re: Westjet Christmas "Miracle"
BIG UP FOR WESTJET....that was awesome...
Re: Westjet Christmas "Miracle"
My best friends daughter is with WestJet in Calgary. During last weeks cold snap, she was outside in just a jacket directing passengers, when there was no jetway available for one of the flights.
She also showed us some awesome photos of one of the WestJet planes painted with a Disney Theme. That plane flies all over; ,not just Orlando.
Great airline; but I'm taking Air Canada to Jamaica next month because the wide body jet and 2 seat aisle suits my wide body. 767's rock.
Re: Westjet Christmas "Miracle"
aaah, WestJet! The pride of Alberta!
Re: Westjet Christmas "Miracle"
THAT brought a tear to me eye!
Re: Westjet Christmas "Miracle"
The kids are the BEST when Santa asks for them by name! It's heartwarming :)
Re: Westjet Christmas "Miracle"
we always travel with Westjet, soon come
Re: Westjet Christmas "Miracle"
We're flying Scair Canada this trip because I booked the flights on Aeroplan miles. I MUCH prefer WestJet, but...
Re: Westjet Christmas "Miracle"
While that was a great PR gimmick for West Jet you should know that every year "scair Canada" employees quietly raise funds and take hundreds of sick or handicapped children and disadvantaged kids to Disney for one wonderful day of carefree fun. Without a PR machine. It's called Dreams Take Flight.

Dreams Take Flight is a wonderful programme! I have always wondered why it only gets press in local suburban newspapers, or a small spot in the Gazoo! It's a great and wonderful thing! Correct me if I am wrong, Dash, but it is my understanding that everything is donated - the plane and all it takes to get it there and back; the flight and cabin crews are on their own time - there are, what? 200 kids on that flight? Entrance to the Disney Park; their food - everything! That's a revenue plane out on a volunteer mission for a day, and that is no free ride! It needs fuel, mechanics, paperwork, landing fees .... everything! A commendable operation, to be sure. I have always wanted to do something for that worthwhile endeavour, and if you have a contact, Dash - I would love to donate either time or money.
