haven't slept in 2-days,
in preparation to get OUT of USA

#1 -- just finished chilling on Lucea verandaH,
munching on a NICE ginger bulla
'Twas REALLY nice
a *new* MUST-DO.

earlier:>> drank a warm jelly coconut,
and of course i scooped & slurped the jelly
ummmmmmmmmmmmm

cost::>> $150 for jelly

single CravenA @ local bar:::>> Ja $35 each

Observation:::>>> there IS NOT a whole heap of over-the-top Christmas decorations, and other foreign-thing-ys here in beautiful downtown Lucea,,,, and in the surrounding communities ---- no lights, no special store displays, no whole lotta chat about buying this or that for Christmas

it's weird (to me)

i'm posting from a *new* alternate internet place
here in the bus park
Rate::::>> Ja$200 per hour

not for sure, YET,
but it *seems* to me that Jamaica is STILL a wonderful place with a cost of living that's significantly lower than what i'm used-to in-foreign. And the bonus (this trip) is the slightly better exchange rate (for me).

as mentioned,
right now,
me TIRED..!!..

on auto-pilot,
relying on past-knowledge/lessons learned.

been away for 2-1/2 years.
NOTHING important has changed.

Weather:::>> NICE..!!..
kinda-sorta hot, but a nice hot

so far,
i'm being constantly amazed at how the likkle pickneys dem, that i remembered from last trips, have now GROWN sooooo much and are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mature, in comparison to from-foreign-pickneys that i'm aware of/exposed to

everybody is happy to see me,
but NOT alot of chit chat....... they-ALL got stuff to do, places to be ---- NO time for too much chattin' ....... I like that Jamaican thing-y ... like it a lot

at airports,
things were TOO-TOO Easy..!!..

they weren't too concerned with overweight baggage in USA,

and in Jamaica,
they weren't concerned with what i had i my bags

cho..!!!..

there's sooooooooooooooo much more stuff i could have/would have brung down if i'd KNOWN *they* were in such a nice friendly holiday mood.

Wednesday morn i'll pick-up my cell phone from my Ja-mentor ...... and deliver the nuff-pounds of prunes, raisens, currants, and marachino(sp?) cherries she requested. ....... dem plan on doing a LOT of baking ...... i'm gonna try to talk her into giving me some backing lessons..... wanna learn how to make that Jamaican Christmas cake.

after about 10-minutes i could feel my body & mind coming alive ---- again, that's with just TEN minutes of island time

the fact of the matter IS:::>> it's least expensive down here ---- ESPECIALLY when you don't have to deal wit a Winter heating bill

3......saw a lady with this gigantic ice cream cone thing-y ... looked like grapenut ... single scoop:::>> Ja$250 ... I'm soooooooooooo glad they've now got (for now) a ice cream place in Lucea
