But It's a DRY Cold!!! LOL
Run away, Dude! Run away!
Can someone tell me what that is in degrees "F". When I use a converter it can't seem to do minus numbers. It tells me it is -58 deg F which I know is wrong.
No that's -58F according to Google
I dont think that is right Crusher. Degrees C and degrees F are not that close. I'm guessing the converters don't convert when it is a minus.
I'm with Crusher.
I'm 3 1/2 hours east of Regina. At the moment -31 C (with the wind feels like -48) or -24F (with the wind feels like -54F)
Christmas stuff put away. Finished packing. Just need to go clean out the barn for the horses and get bales.
3 sleeps and we're outta here!
Maybe two prairie boys should cross paths and enjoy a cold Red Stripe Crusher. We're in Negril from the 15th to 22nd.
As it gets colder the F scale gets closer to Celsius. Trust me I used to be a pro wrestler. :P
ºF =ºC * 1.8000 + 32.00
Or you can do the math if you like. LOL! :)
awesome..prarie folk rock...
Here is a conversion chart...it looks like Celsius and Fahrenheit are even at -40...brrrrr...too cold for this guy :)
http://www.metric-conversions.org/te...,0,0&printthis
Celsius and Fahrenheit cross paths at -40. What I mean is -40C is equal to -40F.
Either way it's special !!!
Where you going to be Crusher. We'll be out near the Westender Inn.
We are at the Negril Beach Club Condos on the south end of the beach.
We'll try and hook up.
Are you going to be online?
Yeah should be. There is wifi at the resort office so usually in the mornings we are online.
I'll pm you once we're there.
Sure we get there Saturday Night the 11th. Our friends are a few days behind us.
C and F converge at -40 they are the same.
Crusher is right.
To top things off when I got this morning it was 19C in my house because the furnace quit blowing. Good thing I am handy and we have a fireplace or it could have gotten pretty cold in here! :)
New fancy furnace we bought two years ago decided it wasn't getting enough return air because a suitcase was sent in front of the cold air return. Sigh technology!!
I know....Canada Problems! :)
That's crazy... somebody told me when it gets extremely cold like that the rock salt on the roads stops working?
Salt is useless after the mid minus teens. Its a chemical reaction and that reaction isn't enough to bring it above freezing at those those temps. So we use a lot of coarse gravel here at intersections it integrates with the ice and gives your vehicles tires something to grip when you are trying to stop. It was a skating rink every where I went today if it wasn't for the gravel there would be a tonne more accidents!! :)
I get it now and yes it is quite depressing. I guess I won't complain about our temps in NY.
Geez no Mo....complain away my friend Winter Sucks!! Just saying...
72F in Phoenix today (come on I have to brag since it sucks so much here in the summer)
17 inches of snow at my house today alone. This will be followed by wicked wind chills for the next few days. Get me out of here!
Looks like about 8 -9 inches here this morning followed by those same wicked wind chills as Jenn. 33 more sleeps...soon come
We warmed up a slight bit today....its only -47C with the windchill factor.....on the plus side its 5 days until I leave the frozen tundra!!!
Ya, thanks for the weather, Crusher!
clench, breathe....clench, breathe
