Jacko and Jenny's? If not, then where?
Tedd's, and the road to Sav
OMG!!! Tedds are pretty wild IMO. Def worth a try!!
Jenny's ... Still good and strong :)
My husband says AhhhBee's.
Best in the West has rice krispy treats if you ask for them.
Confused with Jenny's and Tedd's....are these plant or fungi?
Jenny's is herbal, I'm guessing Tedd's is fungi...not sure about the others :)
Jennys. One piece is perfect.
Is this for real? LOL, only in Jamrock!
Tedd's has fungus, but the cake is just herbal. Very strong.
The Bread Guy, Layton, sells brownies on the beach. Herbal, quite strong, be careful

I can't believe this thread is still going.
Brownies For Sale.......
Just saying if I was the seller would I want to be advertised all over...
Cheers:)
I'd go with Tedd's. And while your there...
Tedd's Shroom Boom! I had an order of the shrooms drizzled with honey. Very fresh. Very 'good'.

What percentage of one of jennys brownies would be suggested for a person that "retired " 15 years ago, & wants to stays functional to enjoy a resort relax day?
going to be my first time having "jamaican brownies" cant wait
Once upon a time there would never have been a doubt!!

Perhaps I should elaborate a little,
I am traveling with my family consisting of two young teenagers & cool but straight wife.
Some days we want to chill on resort but if we (they) want to go up long beach really can't be shaking under the bed.
I can roll with a good buzz just need some direct experience with how potent these little buggers are
.
I find that Jennies cake is about right. One piece seems to be a good buzz.AhhBees brownies are about the same,he said it was good for two people, but I ate the whole thing and was very "happy".
rellim, trust me follow the previous suggestion of 1/4 of a jenny's special cake per 3-4 hours or you will be in asleep for many hours, in the bed, if you make it to your room. Warning! share a whole one with someone ie: 1/2 ea and you will both go to sleep for quite a while. Advise from a professional all day all night smoker/drinker.
The brownies may seem small but they pack a punch...if you have only smoked before, and have never eaten, it takes around an hour before the effects take hold, and they will last quite a while...I would start with about 1/4 to 1/3 and wait to see what happens...you can always eat more, but you can't un-eat it...for me, one piece is too much...they will usually tell you at purchase not to eat the whole thing...be cautious and enjoy
totally agree -- if you don't go to sleep (and you might be fully dressed) - after taking too much - you'll be DROOLING and googly lol - small bites with time in between makes for a pleasant and controllable experience
my 72-year old cousin loved the brownies - no coughing, no smoke - and after a few days he had his portion control down - buzz level lol
the dang brownies taste so good - you forget they're LOADED :-)
and yes --- i've lost a day (or two) lol
I found 1/2 a Jenny's to be about right. Now the bread guy on the beach, that's a different story. Way stronger, only need about 1/4.
All jokes aside, for daily smokers, of whom there are a lot in Negril, one piece from Jenny's is just right.
the bread guy's on the beach tasted terrible it was very strong had 2 small bites in about an hour and was wiped the rest of the day, ended up throwing the rest out. Ah Bee's actually tastes really good had 1/2 over a hour period nice mellow buzz the other half the next day at one go (it was sooo tasty). still trying to remember what all i did that day.:)
missing Famous Pete right now . . . that was some of the best cake ever . . . tasted delicious --- like a good chocolate cake --- fluffly, light, moist ---- and POWERFUL --- one slice did 5 of us in
Hey thanks for the heads up ,7 days is too short to lose 1 or 2
Not to mention mama being pissed for significantly longer:(

a few bites before your flight makes the ride home much more relaxing.....
Don't do it.
Jennys...1 slice last me 5nites or more of course after learning my lesson the first time indulging too much and losing 1or 2 days and telling mi body to move and it wouldn't lol
go with the 1/4 advice for Jenny's brownies. I ate half one time and went to bed pretty quick. Split the other half with my hubby on another day and had a pretty good buzz for the whole day. Be cautious.
As a smoker taking her first trip to Negril in 5 weeks, can someone point me in the direction of Jennys? We are definitely interested.
ETA: And Ahhbees please! And thank you.
Both Jenny's and AhhBee's are on the West End Road, on the hill side. Jenny's is closer to the beach and AhhBee's is further up the road, a bit before Seastar Lane. I'd expect most taxis would know either one.
This map was invaluable to us on our first trip. Though a few places names have changed since it was last updated, much is correct and it really helps with getting around. Ahhbee's is relatively new, it is located were Alice's Restaurant was on this map.

I have copy in my camera case and almost never leave the resort without it. You just never know where the day might take you.
1st timers should be very careful with the brownies. Folks are not joking when they say you could lose an entire day.
I'm thinking I'll stick to sweets that are not "loaded". I don't want to miss anything! . I'll leave the special brownies to those with experience.
I followed the advice here to take it easy my 1st time trying Jenny's cakes and boy was I disappointed that I did, ate maybe 1/3 and nothing at all, waste of $, from then one 1 piece is the correct serving for myself and I never lost a day, fell asleep etc. YMMV apparently.
