it is one of my favorite ja drinks, ja version of a carbonated , grapefruitty pop, you drink it straight, lots of people use it as a mix with overproof rum, we can by it at certain grocery stores in Ontario, soon come

Ting is delicious, it kind of reminds me of that old drink called Wink if anybody remembers that.

Be careful ordering drinks, if you ask for a "rum" and coke or ting you may get white rum, if you want Appleton you need to ask for it...
Ting is very tasty, non alcoholic, and tastes like grapefruit...Wray & Nephew overproof white rum is 126 proof...nuff said.
Just wish they had diet Ting.
Its just like Squirt soda/pop in the US but a bit better. Nothing better then a Ting and Stoli for good JA breakfast.

No Diet Ting at Hi Lo , Valuemaster, or the other two stores we went to last week.
Lots of shapes and sizes of regular Ting, even pink Ting.

It does taste like squirt in the small bottles to me (my mom used to drink squirt and gin)
Taste almost like Squirt in the US.
Used to be able to cure my Ting fix with Squirt...but no longer available to us locally...couple of years back we went on a Carnival cruise with 2-12 packs of squirt(sodas are permitted to bring on boat) and the guy checking us in the line said " I bet that makes a great mixer" ....should have searched us better for all the liquor we smuggled on....indeed it does make a good mixer, with vodka or rum:o
It's way better than squirt or fresca or any other citrus flavored soda. It is made with actual Jamaican grapefruit not artificial flavors.

My wife always laughs when she says "pink ting" .
"Ting" is also the patwa pronunciation of the word "thing" like every likkle ting gonna be all right.
I was told that the soda got the name "Ting" because people that make it couldn't decide on a better name after people kept asking for "one of dem tings". Maybe fact or fiction. You decide.
