Hey..has anyone tried a massage here? Just came back from a 45 minute foot massage and makes me think I need a nice massage when I'm in Negril. I don't mind going "off the beaten path" is someone knows of a good place to go.

My favorite is Jackie's on the reef. Definitely off the beaten path since it is deep west end, but it is my favorite place to go for treatments. http://www.jackiesonthereef.com
Just walk next door to Boat Bar. Ask for Pat or just walk behind the bar to her massage booth.
Jackie's On the Reef is a really nice place! But Miss Pat next door to Rondel is the first place I go as soon as the bags are delivered to our room at Rondel. I've been going to her for several years now. Even though Rondel opened a Spa, I will always visit Pat!
had 1 at Rondel last reach , shes good althoughreason for me is that i threw my back out badly, she is good, no need to go anywhere else for 1 soon come
I may have more then one massage
you'll pay less with Pat, she is negotiable, pay her what you think she's earned, but I'm sure for $40 or less, you'll get a nice massage. You'll probably pay more at Rondel, never had a massage there, but everything at Rondel is top notch and I'm sure worth the money...
or Ferona on the other side of Rondel Village does a real good massage under a sea grape tree right on the beach you hear the ocean $40 for 1 hour.
One of each side of me...perfect..and not all that expensive. I am a fan oh having them on the beach and hearing the ocean..my friend and had one on the beach in Mexico and I was just getting into the zone when a very annoying lady from the beach came up and said How's the massage girls!" I wish I could portray her grating accent...wanted to get up and slap her...some people just don't have a clue.,
"wanted to get up and slap her"...........sounds like you need a massage really bad! ;)........I have tried all three of the Rondel area massages & they are all good. Pat and her helper, Sophia, are the best, IMO. I'll be there Sunday, so do not be taking my 3:00 reservation ;)....
I won't be there for two weeks yet so won't be fighting you for massage times.. You had to be there..this woman was on the beach where I was and she was one of those extremely loud and rude ladies..calling her husband "Dad" and kept sending him for more beer...had the massage to get away from her and she shows up under the palapa..lol..it was funny because it was so ridiculous.
That's why I prefer jackies. Secluded under a thatch hut right on the cliffs edge.
After the day I had at work I just might have to have a massage every day..
hello Chriss 55 I had a spa day today at rondel village. Got there early used the plunge pool, sauna, had an aloe wrap. 1/2 hour massage, facial, and a mani/pedi. when i left there i don't think i could have been more relaxed. it was priced at what i would pay where i live 194 us (incl. tax)
That sounds like a great day! I cannot wait to have my massage..by the time we get to Negril it will likely be dinner time.. I assume these ladies all work during the day only..plus I'm pretty sure the first place we go after out travel day will be the bar..
