Our friends stayed there last year and LOVED it so much they immediately rebooked for this year.
Would love to rebook, however they raised their rates 20% after I booked last time. Too pricey for the wifey and I. If you split it with a few couples it would be a great set up. 2 master bedrooms, 1 stand alone cottage, and you can use the upstairs as another spot for a couple.
The cottage is a trip as the shower is sunk into the ground. I would probably fall in it after a great night on the town.
nice stereo system too that also has outdoor speakers, nice at least compared to an alarm clock radio.
Some how I never made it in there?

It's just the one house, you get a staff and the two acres to yourself? That is not that much more than where we stay, and we don't get a cook.
Toured it twice but have not had the chance to stay. Trying to convince a few other couple to split the cost.

It's the house, a stand alone 1 bedroom cottage, and yes 2 gated acres to yourself. 3 cooked meals a day with food you provide. Staff is there, usually 2 ladies, in the house from around 9-5ish. Landscaper handles daytime security and they have a night security guard as well. Staff is awesome!Quote:

The dogs are gnarly. They are chained up off to the side and are strictly guard dogs. My wife is an RVT(animal nurse) and she stayed far away. Huge rotties!

We were considering this property for our family. How far away from taking walks along Long Bay. We love the area around CoCo. More pictures would be most appreciated!
It's just past Hi-Lo heading up the West End from the beach. It's right after the gnarly corner that I believe some call Mandrax. School kids walk the road daily, mine didn't at that corner.Quote:

Good advice PGW... An accurate 1st person "night walk cam".... I've walked that walk... Once and at near peril. A cab in that area is great advice esp at night... Well worth the few bucks as opposed to what could happen with one trip slip or misstep. Sandals loose gravel and a little alcohol combine for a potentially lethal outcome.
For those determined to hoof it, a flahlight /head lamp and reflective vest /shirt kept in backpack could be well worth it. BE SEEN!! Not news and certainly not advice exclusive to Negril... Sorry it is the den mother in me that wishes to hear of safe and happy travels from all of you...
