Question about flights to montego bay from the U.S
I was wondering who do you normally find with the cheapest airfare. spirit?
Do fares usually get cheaper closer to the date your going to fly? right now I am looking at 480 from chicago to montego bay, does that seem fair?
Just booked a week at catcha falling star and could be more excited, thank you!!!
Re: Question about flights to montego bay from the U.S
Exactly what we paid. Leaving on a Monday returning on a Sunday. Don't remember at the moment who we are flying with. Did AirTran last year right when they started the route out of Midway. That was great.
Re: Question about flights to montego bay from the U.S
airfares normally get more expensive the closer to your date of travel. and that is a good fare.

Don't be fooled by Spirit's low fares. They charge additional fees for almost everything, including carry ons and they well known for bad service.

I usually find Matrix to be handy. Usually try to be flexible on dates.

Re: Question about flights to montego bay from the U.S
Southwest has a sale going on right now re Montego Bay (although they were cheaper lastweek)! I bought tickets for our July trip at $415 per person, round trip.
Re: Question about flights to montego bay from the U.S
Ghostgirl, did you use the Southwest website or call them directly. I tried plugging in some dates on the website and it said MoBay was not an option to fly into.
Re: Question about flights to montego bay from the U.S
AirTran same as southwest so I'm told. Spirit was the worst we used. Had a connecting flight coming home that had 45 minutes layover. Running around everywhere. It was chaos. Not a good way to end the trip
Re: Question about flights to montego bay from the U.S
We fly JetBlue and have always been able to find a reasonable fare, but you have to book early and be flexible on your dates...
Re: Question about flights to montego bay from the U.S
That's so strange- I can plug my vacation dates into southwest's site right now and get back flights (July 20-27). They just started offering Montego Bay directly from Southwest. They merged with airtran and now Southwest is flying those routes. I think I see why- you are flying from Chicago and I'm flying from baltimore!
Re: Question about flights to montego bay from the U.S
Remember the good ole days(actually only a few years ago) when flights were 200-250 out of chicago......it made it worthwhile to drive the 8 hours there to catch a flight...

Re: Question about flights to montego bay from the U.S
American has a non-stop flight out of Chicago for only a little more.
Re: Question about flights to montego bay from the U.S
Indy has non stop service via Delta for $410.00 round trip! Worth having a non stop flight by driving a little for some. I know they only offer this flight during the busy months. Bring me some Lou Malnattis pizza!
