I've got a feeling...

it's the antsy, can't think of anything but Jamaica, stalking all things Jamaica online, too soon to start packing, sick to death of the cold and snow and ice and wind, work is going to be the death of me if I don't soon get a vacation feeling. This is the WORST case of PNS I have ever experienced. Seriously. I'm dying here.

Thanks to those of you posting pictures and reports. Although, that only feeds the crazy that has me checking this board every 27 seconds. However, it's a vicious cycle that keeps me going. 26 more days....26 more days.

Jenn,it's never too early to start packing! It's what keeps me sane:p

270 days for me, but is bet my wife has started packing, or at least started buying swim suits.

I don't think I UNpacked my carry on from Novembers trip....

Hey Jenn, I am packing also..Then Survivor starts on Wed...thats going to help me..it always does!

I'm finishing up a college class in the next two weeks. So somewhere between my obsession with my upcoming trip, I have a boatload of homework to finish. Sigh.
New bathing suits bought. It's never too early to shop for those! ;)

I know this works for me; Go to YouTube site: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zzAZrmVyWY, (Negril Beach 1/5) medicate oneself, fix a rum drink, sit back and enjoy.

To funny Fred Stripe, at least you still have something to look forward too Jenn, once you get here the count down really starts. This Friday we are returning to Siberia ( as I un affectionatly call it). So sad to have to leave after 64 days. will be back though next Jan. Have a relaxing vacation

Jenn, I am with you I am a Negril Junkie I check the board all the time to get my Negril fix until I get there in April. This May will be 25 yrs I have been going and I never get tired of talking about it to every one

OMG, you are killing me here!!! I just "bust a laugh" outloud! I know, the temptation is getting strong. Sounds like a summer trip might be a nice thing. You could have a few months home again, then Book, Pack, and GO!! Gyals trip might be a good thing. It's been a while since I have made a summer "quick" visit. Will just have to find a way to insulate my infamous "cup" cause it does get really hot in the summer. :)

Jenn, you have more that support! Girl, we all feel your pain and anticipation! This board is a God-send...especially when you are close to leaving and when you have just returned....and feel like your heart and soul are still in Negril. I have not had the pleasure of meeting you but I have no doubt that we would "hit it off" as friends. I can feel your love of Jamaica.

WestEndGirl and I were only names on the board...then, one visit at CFSG, we met, along with some other friends and have been good friends ever since. The magic of Negril is contagious....and I am proud to one of those folks. Many blessing sent to you and have a wonderful trip!!

Never been to Negril yet but we are now getting ready for our first trip, flying out from Canada on March 15. Notwithstanding, I'm pretty sure we already have a clear understanding of the effects of "PNS". I think we are handling the "pre" symptoms well as the excitment grows but I am dreading the "post" effects.

I start the packing "excursion" about a month out.... kinda of weird but its ritual now after 8 years to JA.

I think we hung out at a Seastar Saturday night show a couple years ago. I had the worst headache & those drums weren't helping!!!

& all I can say about our MI winter is... 'EFF-EN Polar Vortex!!!!!!!!!'

I just got back from CoCo on Dec15th...Only problem was that it was one of my BEST stays.Weather was perfect,so now instead of being "happy" for my Fix,,I want MORE!!!!!!!!!

Jen I've wanted to reply for days now but my fingers just thawed out (though probably not for long). We cannot go at all this year and every day I feel like crying. If it weren't for this forum keeping me going I think I'd lose my mind... Good luck with the rest of your course and enjoy Negril!

WestEndGirl ~ wasn't me...I've not been to Seastar yet! On the books for this trip. How long will you be there this time?

This morning the actual temp was -17 on my way to work. Dear God...My feet are STILL freezing. 3 more weeks and I'll be enjoying sunset #1 of this trip!

Nikki ~ I'm sorry you aren't going this year. Try to stay "defrosted" and visit the board daily...multiple times daily...I'll try to bring back some warm and sun when we return.
