Coming down to Negril next month and looking for a cliffs:cool:ide hotel with good night security.
Have stayed at a few locations but none have fit the bill for that supersafe feeling.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Where have you stayed previously?
The Blue Cave Castle. Guard at the gate and German shepherds in the yard all night long. Been staying there for 15 years and never had or heard of an incident.
Agree. Catcha feels very safe.
Agree with Catcha but if your more on a budget- Catcha gardens is great too. Locked gate, Marshall at security and Pumpkin and belle
Catch Gardens they also have 2 wonderful gaurd dogs, nobody gets in that doesn't belong on the property
I've never had any thoughts of security at Seastar.
Seastar Inn, while not on the water, has 10 foot high security fences and walls, closed circuit cameras on all entrances and access points, heavy duty gate guards and super honest staff.
I've felt safe at both Blue Cave Castle and Negril Escape.
Spa Retreat, Tensing Pen are very safe. A little more pricey, but safe.
We were just at Negril Escape. Den-Roy security did a good job, plus there was a guard dog at night. Somebody tell that Marshall security guy at Catcha, he owes me my money for that Ginger Beer! I'm serious. Respect and honesty, c'mon.
Moonlight Villa is affordable and we felt very safe. High locked gate and dogs on property.
Catcha ...hands down
Staying at Samsara March 20-24. Any word on the safety or any other issues I need to know about this place?
Staying at the Sea star for 5 weeks , it's always been safe there. Come as a guest , leave as family, true dat.
We just returned from 10 nights at home sweet home and can say it was as safe as anywhere I have been in Negril or at home. Great vibes and always a smile from all the staff. Can't wait to return. Charlie the owner is on site and while I was enjoying a late nite red stripe with Shane the security mon Charlie was still nosing around waiting on a new guest. I also noticed razor wire on top of the high wall adjoining the properties. Thieves I suspect choose easier targets. Cheers!
Mirage has very good security. Uniformed guards watch the gate and routinely patrol the grounds. The gates get closed after sundown, but the guards are there to let you in no matter how late you return to the hotel.
I will say that Negril Escape has good security, as well, but those dogs can get noisy at times.
The Spa Retreat has wall/Gated/24 hour security.
Just came back from Catcha Falling Star. Security and staff are on op of their game.
Catcha is the best on the cliffs. You gotta see that view to believe it.
