Lobster Omelette on Beach

Anyone know where we can get a nice lobster omelette on 7-mile beach?

lol - me too 2nutz - I just finished dinner but that sounds really good.

In Jamaica, the annual close season for lobster runs from April 1 to June 30, during which time it is illegal to harvest lobsters.

However, from April 1-21 businesses may process, sell and export lobsters, after which it is illegal to trade in the crustacean or have them in one's possession.

Gail, saw the information regarding Lobster Season before and have this question: does that mean that the restaurants can sell and serve lobsters between April 1 - 21 as long as the lobsters were caught before the April 1st cutoff? Don't want to buy/eat any illegal lobster, but would still like to have 1 or 2 if legal. Thanks for the clarification.

I second Irie John on Coconut International. Garlic, country peppers and scallions cooked in butter.
I asked this question a few years ago and I am thankful to Dave for suggesting it.
My 7-10 day stay on the beach I go there @ least 5-6 days and I've even gone there my last
7-10 days on the cliffs 2-3 times.

Order for breakfast and have it by lunch.

Coconut International for sure.Been eating them for many years,Sheldon and Miss Angie will set you up.Best way to start the day for sure.

Canoe Bar (not on the 7 mile, but just past the roundabout, on a little private beach) lobster omelet with home made hollandaise, also creole shrimp omelet, canoe eggs ( on coco bread, layers of callaloo, scrambled egg, bacon, and hollandaise,) Westland mountain breakfast ( stack of pancakes sandwiching ham, sunny eggs, topped with home made pineapple syrup! Freshly ground blue mountain French press coffee!

Don't know if they have the lobster but the Firefly makes a nice Big omlette,fresh to order. Two can share easily but you have to keep your junk in da trunk at the bar.

Thanks for the pointers for "Coconuts International" and "Canoe" - will check them out next week. I know Firefly is a great place, too, but I do not recall them having lobster.

Boardwalk Bar and Grill. I think it was $9USD for the lobster omelet. Very delicious and you won't leave hungry. Here is the link.
