For us boardies not on a permanent vacation, what do you do for a living back home?

Some of us are entertainers, some of us work at schools, some of us are even ex-cops, right?

While maintaining privacy, who among us wants to share what they do for a living?

I work in the printing industry. I do electronic pre-press for packaging. Chances are if you have purchased a major label pet food product it came off of my computer. Empress Donna is a TNA/NA.

I am a House Arrest Tech and my better half is a PO.

my wife is retired housing and credit counselor and i am retired/part time electrician

Retired container ship captain. Sub contractor to US Coast Guard as a training officer

I'm a director of an insurance company network, hubs is a civil engineer.

Retired from the railroad and my husband retired from the Waste Management Industry

I'm a project manager for a Canadian credit union and my better half is in hydraulic equipment sales.

Just retired after 33 years of police service. The only reason we had to go home was because my wife had to go back to work. After all, she is the bread winner now. We found the right seat sale and "14 days soon come".

I'm a writer and a paralegal.

Medical editor.

Wastewater treatment operator. Janet is a part time labor and delivery nurse. Two years to retirement, hopefully. Turn 63 next week.

Interesting. So far a lot of us involved in jobs that help others.

I am a special education teacher, but currently work as a pediatric coordinator in a childrens hospital. I insure that when our special needs children are home, they receive appropriate educational/medical services.

I work in the Supply Chain Management group for our local telephone company and my husband works in the Street Department for the city we live in (plowing snow, mowing grass, filling potholes, etc.)

I work in home health physical therapy and my beautiful wife is a nurse practitioner.

Architect and construction management.

We own our own real estate appraisal firm. Work from home for the most part.

I"M retired machinist. worked 30 years in a honeywell aro space plant. We built alot of instrumentaion you see in commecial and military aircraft, we also made and still do some gyros for smart missles, the ones that blast a hole and another flys thru to kill the scum bags. Wife still works there and has 37 years in there now. She is technician and customer support

scum bags may have been a little heavy for some so i'll take that part back but you know what i mean

Great thread idea Gerry! I've often wondered about this myself.

I am a licensed plumber. (and still looking for the perfect job in Negril) I run the maintenance department at the water filtration plant (drinking water) in our city. (I was biting my lip during the whole "human waste flowing into the sea" thread) ;)

Wifey manages the loan department at a local credit union.
