My wife or aka Da Boss lost a Mickey Mouse watch she took off for the late nt hot tub dip....Or should I say HattaTub...
We were endulging in hot skin touching overations of the soul and she thought Mickey should not see such emusions of oily passions,,so she turned his face away. Last time I saw that LiL fella?
Favorite pair of sandals walked away on their own from my patio once in the middle of night at CCLP...must have had somewhere more important to be. Crafty sandals knew how to outwit the security camera!
mi innocense :)
One sandal, silver leather, custom made for me in Greece. Left Jamaica in a hurry when the person I was traveling with had a motorcycle accident. A friend later packed up my stuff and sent it to me--forgot to send my silver sandal :(
my mind
I had my Brand new Ipod and I was jamming to some tunes and went for a swim and the tunes stopped. Forgot to take ipod off...lol.
I left a nice pair of Italian sandals at Push Cart when it was called Captains Cove (I think) I left them there.
They shall walk with me no more forever ?
My surname ;)
Also, I wrote a journal about the whole trip and I left it behind, under the mattress as I was pressing some flowers from my Weddingmoon bouquet in it. Absolutely gutted I left it as it was everything from staying at the airport hotel the night before, people's names (we made friends with), bars visited, weddingmoon stuff, literally everything about our last trip to Negril :(
Oh well, I will just have to go back, with a different surname and title and write another one. Too bad :)
I leave my heart in Negril every time I come home.
I left my iphone in the rental car in February and hubby dropped his Maui Jim's probably while putting gas in the car. Most expensive trip yet. LOL.
A pair of Nike Slides......left them by my chair to go take a dip in the sea and the shoes grew feet and walked away.
While staying a Cliffside resort $300 left my room while I was snorkeling. I thought it was hidden well enough. That was in 1991, I'm almost over it now.
WOW, seems to be a trend with a lot of SELF walking Shoes!!
All the people I met along the way...
I've lost many footprints and burdens there **********
a hearing aid......fell out while riding a scooter and run over by a car...$2500!!
haha almost lost a pair of sandals a couple years ago.....while sitting at Sunnyside we noticed a person lurking around the entrance to Rooms picking up bottles. When he went back again I knew he was going back for my shoes and those of a friend. We yelled "drop those shoes!!!" from the bar and took off towards the entrance and he had indeed dropped the shoes and ran. Too bad all our yelling didn't wake the security guy :(
My first pair of prescription sunglasses. First and last time I drank rum punch!
One trip I tended to lose blood.
First, we took a catamaran cruise along the cliffs. We stopped at some caves (south of Rick's I think) for a swim. The waves washed me up against the rocks leaving me with some serious "rock rash" on my chest and side. I swam back to the cat and asked the bar tender if he had a first aid kit. "No problem." He handed me a bottle of overproof to apply to my cuts and scrapes. No infection! Inside or out!
Then a couple of days later, I stupidly tried to open a bottle without a bottle opener. Unbeknownst to me, one of the tines on the cap was bent outward. Cost me a call to a doctor (who made a house/hotel call) and a half dozen stitches across my palm. I got our drinks and walked back to my wife who was lounging on the beach. Good thing I saw where the nurse's office was when we checked in. That was my next stop.
That was one bloody trip.
I lost my camera card with all my pictures on it.....had put in a new one cause that one was full, ending up loosing the full one. The new card only had 2 pictures on it when we got home.....looked everywhere for it....never found it :(
I lost my desire to go anywhere else on this fine planet. Even tho I do, I always wish I was in Jamaica / Negril.
Can't say I exactly lost it IN Jamaica but my entire suitcase was lost on the way home from Jamaica. It was never recovered. Everything in it....Gone....Between clothes, makeup, toiletries, etc. That was a lot of money that simply vanished.
My heart! and he still has it.. married 5 years next month!:)
Feeling in the back of my right foot ... Dayum Stingray!
Lost Lulu but she came back, have to quit giving her a card to please return her to BBB!
Fred: saw your reply, thank you.
You guys are awesome:), we will always have a bit of history to tell our friends and newbies about Negril and Jamaica. Keep the good vibe going Fredstripe and Friends.
I lost my main wallet/credit card for 5 hours or so after a hotel transfer. had a few hours of searching and researching the luggage and trying to somehow reach visa to cancel the card. Kuyabi said that they checked my room but after 4 hours of freakin i had to go look for myself. (ok maybe it was Milos idea from the Banana Shout(finest kind)). i will never forget that feeling of finding that beat up ole piece of leather wallet in the room safe. total bliss. when returning the key the girl in the office just said "you are very lucky" and walked away.
In the 1970's we used to drive from NY to Miami & get cheap student rates. We would do this 24 hour straight drive & then get on the plane. By the time we got to Negril I was exhausted and got out of the taxi with my only pair of good sandals left in the car. I had to go to Bata and get a pair of those really cheap sneakers.
Also for many years my sunglasses would "disappear". I also have a lost level of concentration when I come back home!
We rented a jetski and my bf lost the "key" to start it somewhere in the ocean and we didn't know how to start it without one. We towed the thing over to Xtabi (awful experience on my first jetski) then we managed to find our jetski guy and he sorted us out (and told us how to start without a key for future reference, although I won't be riding one again didn't care for it that much even without losing the key).
Then I sat on the beach while my bf continued on with the jetski and he came back a bit later to tell me that he lost the baggie with my ID and credit card plus over $100 in it. I said oh well what can you do. He went out on the jetski again and then came back a bit later with the bag! He found it sinking into the ocean and dove in to rescue it, unbelievable!!!!
My consecutive steak of no broken bones! 39 years and 15 of those a wrestler.....broke my leg in a Jamaican pothole....
A half day of beautiful Jamaica. Started breakfast by buying a gunny sack of oranges from a sweet woman on a donkey. Proceeded to juice them and ended up going through 4 liter's of Vodka. Oops. As if that wasn't enough, we decided we better get rid of our sub fixings because we can't bring it home. Bake some brownies. Brilliant idea..... After half the pan is gone, 6 out of 8 people are down for the count. Only the professionals were left standing....
