Well the time is passing at a snails pace and I imagine it will only get slower over the next 17 days so I would love to know what you all do to make the time pass when you know Paradise will soon come;). The hubby starts to drink Red Stripe, I will dip into my precious Cocomania bottle and we pull out all our Stephen West CD's, next week I will open the suitcase..........would love to hear your rituals.
Increase my consumption of subs so I don't hurt myself when I get there:cool:
Heavy rotation of my reggae playlist on my iPhone.
Check the board 30 times a day instead of the usual 10.
Work long hours so I can afford to go.
Ride my jet skis at the river.
Yardwork
Fish
Oh yeah, how could I forget. Work 10 hours a day 7 days a week for the month leading up to departure.
I am on #5 of 7 12hr days right now but due to my work rotation I have a full week off next week.....then a few night shifts which will leave plenty of time to check the board......as you can see I am already back here so well on my way to the 30x a day marker......increased sub consumption is great piece of advice!!!!!lol!!!!Quote:

I just try to ignore it until Beth Ann feels the need to give me a daily update on how many days are left until we fly out. I usually have everything set months before we leave. The remainder of the time is spent packing, checking for scheduled concerts while we're there and checking the weather to make sure snow isn't going delay us.

Hilarious thread. Ok. Prior to trip I begin listening to more reggae. This year Listened to iTunes Radio and discovered more music. Purchased songs on iTunes. Whenever I'm stressed My boyfriend puts on reggae and I immediately go into a calm trance 😊. Schedule a trip to the mall to buy two new bathing suits. Assess beach cover ups, suitcases, browse negril websites, call Ivan's to reserve a table lol, and chat with someone in Negril. Buy sunscreen. Make a list of what to bring a month in advance. Next year will add booking club Mobay.
