Lionfish on the menu is working - sightings down in JA waters by 66%!
"Jamaica is reporting a big decline in sightings of lionfish, the voracious invasive species that has been wreaking havoc on regional reefs for years and wolfing down native juvenile fish and crustaceans.
Some four years after a national campaign got started to slash numbers of the candy-striped predator with a mane of venomous spines, Jamaica's National Environment and Planning Agency is reporting a 66 percent drop in sightings of lionfish in coastal waters with depths of 75 feet (23 meters)."

Hubby and I had it at Canoe Bar and loved it! One way to get rid of the suckers. :D

The Winnipeg Lionfish Hunters and The Sea Star staff put a little dent in the population. We speared, cleaned and ate over 100 of those critters. Can't wait to get more.

my experience, it's excellent and very mild regarding taste. quite good

too bad asian carp arnt good to eat lol. we had the lion fish too at canoe too, thought it was tasty, tsaty a little like perch too me . was nice surprise being i love perch
