Different owner of the restaurant now.
I was told by friends there in February that Patrick Robinson from Sunset after Dark on West End Road (across from all Ages School & Negril Hardware & Haberdashery) has taken ovee the lease at Wild Parrot and is calling it Patricks on the Beach. If the food is anything like Sunset it will be a treat as he set the Bar for Burgers & Fish & Chips on the West end. Only down side is he runs them as seasonal spots since he has a catering business in Edmonton , Alberta and shuts them down from April to November .Check to see if there are any reviews on line!
We were at Patrick's on the Beach a couple of times in Feb. Food was great. He has a hot dog cart out front, where he sells huge hot dogs and sausage on a bun. He also has his one pound burger, like at Sunset after dark. He also makes a great poutine with chunks of beef in the gravy... yummy. Daily specials too. Personally, I enjoy it much better than Wild Parrot. Just my personal opinion.
I believe Patrick's had a short term lease that might not have been renewed.
WHAT????? Are you saying it is closed again. What about the hot dog cart?
The Hot Dog Cart was owned by someone else I thought?

Big Ds Hotdogs
I believe it is now Sunquest. We had a huge burgher there Monday and they still have spicy fish tacos
OK what's the deal-
Dash was there on Monday and it was open
Ryan went today and it was closed
I was under the impression that Patrick owned the hot dog cart too. I will find out in a few days but not sure I will have internet access to report back.
This is from their (Patrick's on the Beach) facebook page, it was posted April 13/14 "It's coming upon the end of the season for us. So come on in today and get your fix of the BIG BURGER or any of your other favorites."
So maybe they are closed for the season too? I thought I'd seen somewhere that Patrick's would be open all year, but maybe not :(
Patrick's on the Beach and SSAD are closed for the season, not sure if the hot dog cart will remain open
I was assured that the hotdog cart will not be there next year by Sunquest owners. It did not belong in such a small place blocking the view of the beach.
It's a shame that such a wonderful property is closed for a majority of the year. When we stayed their last april/may we thought we had found our go to place.
The dog stand is run by another party and the way I understood it, Patrick was the one that allowed them to have their stand their.
As far as blocking the view, didn't have any problem with it there as did anyone else I know of. I thought it was great being able to grab a quick bite, chatting with D and others that came for a dog. What next, going to tell Miss Rose she has to move her fruit stand! Some people.
