Hi All - just back from a great week at the Treehouse with the family. Will try to post pictures soon. Some highlights include Aunties, Dean the Jerk Pork Guy, Palm Sunday mass with Father Jim, and the GREAT people/workers at the Treehouse. Was at an all-inclusive last time, and have to say that a place like Treehouse - with breakfast in the morning provided, and a central place to access food all around you......well, no more AI for me. More details to come.
Amen ! togany. I guess most of us learn about the AI concept early on, then see the light. Looking forward to pictures & TR.

So we landed on a Friday and quickly made it through customs. I had arranged transport with Steve Positive. Nothing but good things to say about Steve. On time, nicely air conditioned van, a few cold Red Stripes and sodas for the kids. a great start to our week! Safe, experienced driver as well. You know that is the case when he knows when to slow down as to not bottom out, and missed all the potholes!
Quick check in an off through the finely manicured garden area to our 2 bedroom home for the week. We had a second floor towards the back of the property. Huge master bedroom and bath. My son slept in the room with us on a fold out couch. My daughters shared a queen bed down the hall with their own bathroom and shower. We didn't use the loft that had another queen and a double. Also bathroom and shower. This place could easily sleep 8 adults.
First night dinner was pizza from Chances. Very good, and only waited around 20 minutes for the pizza.
Brought the pizza down the beach and ate it at Aunties where we ordered some shrimp and coconut callaloo. A few cold $2 Red Stripes and we called it a night.
Looks like a happy family.
Prices at Sun Beach look pretty fair.
That's one of the great things about Treehouse. A comfortable home in Negril and everything you need within walking distance.

We ate at AhhBees another night. Good news bad news for that spot. First the bad.......nice menu, but daughter 2 orders a chicken sandwich...."no chicken". Hmm. I order 2 red snapper sandwiches for me and wife - one regular and one jerk style....waitress says "hold on"...."only 1 red snapper left".....OK, 1 red snapper and 4 hamburgers it is!
Good news was the food we did get was great. Burgers are seasoned, so be careful if you don't like a little bite.
Oh yeah, almost forgot...I ordered a Red Stripe....."we're out of Red Stripe"........OK, RS Light it'll be........
Saw the owner after dinner and he explained that he had just returned with more chicken.....

AhhBees burgers are great. You should also try Sharks next door to AhhBees. It has excellent food.
I have found that AhhBees has never had chicken anytime we visited. Burgers are good though.
