Transportation from Montego to Negril

Hi There,

I am writing for information on transportation from the airport to Negril. We are scheduled to fly down to Jamaica 2/14/2015. There are 8 adults and 2 children (2 and 5 years old) - We're staying at CocoLaPalm in Negril. 6 of us adults (and the two children) are scheduled to return home on 2/21/2015 whereas the other 2 adults are returning home 2/28/2015.

Do you have a favorite service that you use for transportation from Montego to Negril? And why would you recommend this company?

I used luxurious carib tours last year in Nov/Dec. They are very professional and all around nice gentlemen. I was a solo traveler. I felt very safe with them. They checked on me while I was in Negril and also called me to see if I make it back to the states safely. I will be using them again this year. You won't be sorry that you made that choice. :)

Steve Positive gets my vote! Just read the other threads posted recently to see that others agree!

We always use Kenny to drive us in. Can't imagine riding with anyone else. I think several other boardies use him as well. PM me if you need contact info.

I would recomend Patrick @ Esperanza tours great company and very reliable you cant go wrong most boardies use them.

How about Clive's Transport? Anyone used him recently? How reliable is he?

We use Rocky's (http://rockystaxiandtourservice.com/) or you can find him in the transportation section above. Love him and all his drivers, safe, prompt and pleasant; and Roxann is a pleasure to deal with. Rocky also has different sized vehicles, so transporting your group would be no problem.

Another vote for Rocky, he is the best!

Gonna go with Patrick from Esperanza tours. Did four runs in three weeks meeting a crew, dropping off and waiting for the next bunch and then two drop offs. He was fantastic to say the least, felt completely safe and made stops along the way. Nothing was too much or out of the way, and even popped in at the hotel to see if we needed anything. Will call him for sure when we go back. First class service.
