Confirmed: Jet Ski operations in Ocho Rios Bay set to resume on June 2

Tourism and Entertainment Minister Dr. Wykeham McNeil announced yesterday that with the implementation of certain rules and regulations in place for "Jet Ski" operations, a recommendation from Personal Water Crafts (PWCs) Task Force has been made for the resumption of commercial operations be resumed in Ocho Rios Bay, St. Ann. The Minister who was making his contribution to the Sectoral Debate stated that the resumption of these PWC activities will be done as a test, and that it may resume on Monday, June 2

So what are the "rules and regulations" being put in place? Hard to comment not knowing this.

i will not be happy to see jet skis back on the beach. no matter how sensible the regulations put in place, there is no one to enforce them.

This "lifting" as stated is on a test basis in Ochi only.

This will test the enforcement as well.

If the enforcement phase is not adequate, the ban will not be lifted in Negril and will be reinstated in Ochi as well...
