January 2015 Roll Call

Is it too early? I think not. I did a search and did not see anything so figured I would start one! Here it goes!!!

Walleyed99 - January 20th - January 27th Grand Pineapple- (I wanted to stay Non A/I but the deal with flights was good enough considering it was only for a week, that we just HAD to take it. We could still justify going off resort lots of the time and keep cost similar too going non AI), Sadly we have shortened our trip to only a week this year as we have planned a NYC trip in the fall of 2015 and I need the holiday time for that trip, and have to spend 2 weeks at the Summer Cabin so alas, the JA trip will suffer this year. :(

We're there mid jan for 8 days,trying not to look forward to it too much right now,summer flies here and I gotta enjoy it while it last! Ya mon...

Dec 31 - Jan 10, snuck in on Dec roll call too! :)

Well we can sneak in on this one too! Dec 23-Jan 3 for us :)

Doin' the dual roll call, too! We'll be there 24 Jan to 07 Feb - Jumping off the cliffs this year and staying on the beach! Treehouse.

Jan. 12 to 20. If we have another winter like last year might have to try and extend. Soon Come

January 24th to the 31 at The Grand Pineapple.

Dual roll call, I like it. Jan 31 to Feb 28, the wife and myself.

Can sneak in a few hours at least...dec 21 - jan 1

Grand Pineapple here I come with mnnegrilfan, January 23rd thru February 1.

January 24th - February 7th for us likely at NBCC

Gonna miss the January crew.

30 friends at NBCC and Travellers Jan 30 - Feb 7...celebrating my bday on Feb 2 and Superbowl

The pictures were great, We are going Jan 23 - Feb 1 to Grand Pineapple, as cold as it is in MN today, I am ready to go. We missed last year, so it makes it harder to wait to get there in January. Soon Come!!

Never too early to be thinking about Negril trips. I can sneak in on this one too. Dec 14-Jan 8th. Oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Countdown is on!!! I am more than ready. Heck, I have started setting aside some items to take. Everything from extension cords, favorite clothes, to some magnifiers for some Jamaican friends. No doubt, that I will still forget something but it always works out.

Hope to see some of you guys pon da rock!

just booked for the week of January 18 -25 staying at Merills this time . Last year we stayed at the Grand Pineapple hopefully Merills is just as nice..

You're there the same dates as us. For probably the same reasons. Cold & snow escape! Hope we can meet up. Thanks for the snowstorm, BTW, when we crossed into SK en route from Montreal to Calgary this past week. I knew we were best advised to have snow tires on! And seriously thanks for the long flat roads - a welcome change from the twisty windy ones through South Western ON! Want to spend more time in Regina next time - it's quite a nice city!

Jan 21-2 second trip. Regretting not booking a couple days on the cliffs. Can anyone suggest great properties to visit for couple hrs on the cliffs? Enjoy a meal/drinks, swim and relax?

Going to take a break from the snowmobile for 9 days jan 19 - 28. Strange enough we do love winter activities but we love Negril too. Living in Canada (or anywhere it snows) you either enjoy some winter activities or travel or be miserable. I choose not to be miserable. I think I might be preaching to the choir on this one...lol.

CHANGE THAT ! changed the hotel, read bad reviews about merills, so we changed to the good old Grand Pineapple for 4 nights, then over to the cliffs for 3 nights at Samarra cliffs hotel.
