Nice! Looking forward to seeing some pics from this one (even the blurry, late night PGW pics).
Day 1
So my buddy and Mike are delayed, sitting on the air plane. Captain says "We will take off in 15 minutes" "We are now approved for takeoff" Plane curiously returns to the terminal and the captain says.. "This trip will put me over my hours, hopefully we can find you a new crew soon". WTF??
2.5 hours later. Off we go.
Cold red stripe in the car on the way to Negril. Stop at a few places for some stripes and some subs.
Head to drifters bar for the show. Met up with PGW, and Uncle Effin Johnny! And this is where it all goes down hill for the next 5 days
I can say with absolute certainty. I have ZERO recollection of what happened next? This is one of those moments where it was less than a damn week and the only thing I know for absolutely sure, is that we went to the pelican bar yesterday.
Dont think I ate ganja cake that day?
Maybe bourbon beach? Ah, yes. I think we went there. And I know we were at Tony's hut at some point.
Once again the old saying is proven true....
"What happens in Negril, never really happened"
Flip, we will use our collective imaginations to figure out what happened....
Enjoy,

Day 2.
Got up for some breakfast. We stayed at treehouse. it was good stuff. Saw PGW running on the beach, went down to discuss what lies ahead. Hung at treehouse until about 10 and then decided to go bar hopping down to tony's hut, where team Canada was staying.
Did Firefly, Sun Beach, Charella and white sands - then tony's.
I had some coloring books I wanted to drop off at Natural Mystic Bar, and then a belt for Connie, so I asked if we could make today's plan a big bar tour up to the westend. It was met with zero resistance.
Some bars I know for sure we hit.
Sunnyside
Yellow bird
bourbon beach
Corner bar
Another bar right near corner barch headed out to the west end that I forget
Natural Mystic Bar
Connie's - where we had the most banging mac n cheese ever.... and perhaps a slice of her finest cake.
The Blue Iris - Where went on the open mic. Uncle Johnny and Iris were cracking jokes. I was playing the role of the MC. I interviewed my buddy mike who does a spot on Arnold Schwarzenegger impression. "Arnold, what do you think about the situation in Gaza?" "Stop whining". haha
We got a cab back, but were stuck in Dream Weekend traffic before we even made the round about.
So we walked back up. I think we went to Errols on the way back.
picked up another boardie on the way? I dont really recall, other than she was a Caucasian female, and that's what I assumed.
Went back to Tony's hut, where Waves park was going off the chain next door. We could see the whole party from the balcony up stairs, and we could hear the music just fine. No worries about going into the party. We hung out there and drank some beers and cracked jokes until 2, 3, 4 am?
Sounds like a great time:eek:
After Day 2, I'd need a vacation from my vacation :p
good stuff....people watching the party from the perch above would be awesome...
Great pictures flip and report, keep them coming please!
Love the Treehouse pics! Oh and the report too!!
Ok, where was I?
I believe this is the day we decided to go to FIWI to see Hiyagrade. As per the usual routine, we met up with PGW and Uncle Johnny and then drank our way down the beach.
We hung at the bar at fiwi for a couple hours, and then linked up with Rob and Lisa at Drifters. Where there was a special show. Luddy was having a family reunion, and his son stole the show in my opinion. He has Luddy's voice and was very charismatic. Drawing a blank as to what happened next. I believe we went to sunny side for some cocktails. Uncle Johnny took off to go see an old friend to give him some shoes, with one of the "Lads" (Dave's son's friends).
When we got back to Poolguy's place we saw the following not on the counter

Monday monday monday.
Today, I eas into things a bit. I sit at tony's hut and have a pepsi and play a few games with grace ann. PGW has a couple tings. My buddy mike kicks it off with a stripe. We have to wait on Uncle Johnny for a bit, which was fine.
We snagged a cab down to the hilo, so we could hit ATM, Exchange currency etc, then we walk up the hill to red ground. We see the wood workers finishing a fine kind size head board. PGW sends a pic to his wife, who says she will wire him cash to buy it.
We make a stop at red dragon. I had my first beer of the day and my first ever skunked beer in Jamaica. I almost vomited all over the table. But I choked down 70% of it. The next few beers were fine. Uncle Johnny told me a dirty joke. We were not aware that the locals who seemed not to be paying attention were listening. On the way out of the bar about an hour later one of the locals made his own joke about the punchline which ended up being hilarious.
We went to Colletes bar for several hours. Music bumping. Uncle Johnny in the DJ booth. We drank her out of red stripe and decided to move down the road.
We got a cab and decided to got to No limit and work our way home. Uncle Johnny and Mike wanted to hit connies to crab a cake on the way. When arrived. We found the lads already there. We decided to stay and hang with them for awhile. We ate some awesome mac n cheese again and had some of her famous desert. After I promised myself I wouldnt again. We had a blast though. connie helped me make a call to chicken to arrange a tour to YS and Pelican bar for the next day. Which we got settled.
We went to Blue iris next, then we ended up with a cab? I am not sure. Anyways. We all ended up crashing relatively early so we could be ready for the trip the next day.
I like the way you roll!
Hah, thanks both of you.
Tuesday. The last full day.
We get up early and trudge down the beach to meet up with the Canadians. We have hired Chicken to take us on a tour to YS, and Pelican bar. This time we have the lads with us. PGW was wanting to spend some more time with his kid, and his friends - but they were wanting to do their own thing for the most part. At 18-19, who didn't? This was a good opportunity to lock them in for the day though.
We head over to hilo. Gotta get some cash. Gotta get some supplies.
Loaded up the cooler with some stripes, some wata, some Gatorade. Grabbed some snacks and off we went. Well sort of.
WE FORGOT PGW! He was taking a leak behind the bus and not only did start to leave without him, but we pulled away his cover.
Anyway, we got him on the bus, and now, off we went.
On the way to YS, I sat in the back with Uncle Johnny, PGW road shotgun and the rest of the crew filled out in between.
We stopped at belmont to check out the Peter Tosh burial site. Some will be impressed to know that the road all the way up until this point has been repaved. I have no doubt that the Sandals Whithouse Resort had a little to do with this.
We made it to YS falls. The lads did the rope swing. We took some pics and video. I went swimming for about 30 minutes. After that? Well.... I guess that's all.
We stopped at Middle Quarters for some peppa shrimp. BANGIN.
Finally off to Pelican Bar.
Chicken arranged our boat and off we went. We spent about 3 hours at pelican bar. Most of us were in the water the whole time. PGW challenged us to climb that structure just near pelican. Myself, his son, and my buddy mike went up. It was very shaky.
PGW's kid tells me he doesnt have shoes on and is nervous to step on a sea urchin, so I toss him over my shoulder and carry him back to pelican bar. Thats when I nailed my shin on some Coral. didnt really hurt that bad at the time, but it did later.
When we got out of the water it turns out I was bleeding from the coral. A young Jamaican guy came over with vinegar, and that stopped the bleeding, but HOLY ****. It stung.
After a bit, we decided to head back. I told the guys that the ride was REALLY BORING in the dark and it was best we hit the road with some day light.
On the way home we stopped at the KFC in Sav. The place was PACKED. We waited in line for an hour I'd guess. Lots of yelling for "Supervisor!" but it was an unforgettable experience. We sat down and ate, and headed back to town.
Unfortunately this is where our story basically ends. We were all exhausted from the long day.
Pics to follow.
Good stuff!
Wait - so, why did Uncle Johnny go to the Jungle at 8:00pm?
Love the last pic, reminds me of the Usual Suspect!!!
Mayhem to continue, poor poor Jamaica!
Enjoy,
