Love it. Headed to Canada this weekend actually.
No denying it... but I'd still prefer Stripes.... brewed on the island, mon! Not that RS Light by Molson or that RS by RS/Latrobe (Genesee, I think).
I hope this stays on. I posted it last week and it was deleted. You are right, its an "all in fun" song.
Sue-I'm so glad you "get it". I'm kinda bummed you beat me to posting it! Lol. The whole reason I posted it was because I remembered a night at Kenney's when over a plate of the best Chinese food I have ever had Flip told me that I didn't say "EH" nearly enough and he didn't like it one little bit. I figured I needed to show my Maple Leaf a little ;-) Nothing wrong with some good clean ribbing EH.
Trouble is; it's B.S. It USED to be true but not now. The beer I buy in New York State is every bit as strong as Canadian beer. Most of it is 5 per cent alcohol by volume, just like Molson Canadian or Labatt Blue.
Ice beer on both sides of the border is a little more, 5.5 or 5.9 usually.
I can't wait to try some Canadian craft brews this weekend. Any recommendations?
Montreal. I picked thunder bay. But the bachelor party crew said the gentleman's clubs were better in montreal.
LOL - you'll have a blast in Montreal. Not a lot of craft brews that I now of, but do try some "la fin du monde" (http://www.unibroue.com/en/beers/15) - it's only 9% (translates to "the end of the world")
I'm sure some of the Montreal boardies will be able to help you out!
Have fun :)
