Ouch. Thankfully, no brusing or anything else to speak of. Good thing my ricks days are over.

I can't remember if I posted the kennys pics or not. The general chicken was decent. This wasn't really breaded and fried hard, which is how I like it. If I'm gonna get american chinese food, I want the real, "fake" thing. Flavor was okay, spice was nice but I did ask for it spicy. Rice was barely avg.
I guess all my pictures are going to be cock-eyed cause I'm posting from my phone.

The spring rolls were on point. As good as any I've had in restaurants back home. Only better that I've had were homemade.
The wonton soup was...interesting. They used chicken instead of the traditional pork filling. The skins were not your typical noodle skins. This was very close to an American dumpling dough, as in chicken and dumplings. It was missing chives and/or scallions. The broth was light and not salty like the stuff in the states. I'm pretty sure the greens was calaloo which was cool.
Delivery was super fast, even by US standards. From order to arrival was like 20 mins.
Teddys food at blue cave was fantastic. Again, I don't recall if I already mentioned that elsewhere. Conch fritters were like amazing chicken nuggets from the sea, lots of little bits of tender conch and served with what I think was guava-pepper jelly/sauce that had a good kick.
Lobster thermadore was wonderful, creamy and tender. Never had that before.

So this painting was hanging above my bed at bcc. Good thing I noticed it when I was sober.

You could save a lot on car insurance.
Attachment 39492
I noticed this on my first day at bcc while leaning over tha wall. Someone had wedged it into the wall in the outside. Attachment 39493
I pulled it out to take a pic then placed it back and made sure it was secure.
It reminded of something that my mother would have painted. She was always finding rocks on The beach and painting them.
Lol at the painting. BCC has the craziest artwork I've seen. One of the superior rooms has this painting of a chandelier suspended in midair over the ocean. It's amazing.
Did you put the rock back?
Yes, I placed it back and made sure it was secure.
In case you don't know, you should look up Rehtaeh Parsons. Her story is a tragic lesson that everyone who has young females and males growing up in this day and age should read. Her parents have been very brave in keeping her memory alive and even though she died several years ago, it's only recently that her name has been able to be published or spoken out loud in public. That little rock is a potent message.
a tragic story that people should know about, if there can be a happy ending to her story it is the laws enacted since to protect other teens...
How many times this week has someone told you they cut a hole in the pineapple and grow the weed in it?
Jamaica must have the highest number of farmers per captia out of the whole world.
...that and the number of grandmothers that have to get buried is astounding.
Hey Cap....will you take me to Zion Hill? I'll bring some seeds.{not those seeds!!!} So, what happened to Rehtaeh? Respect ."Rock'n'Roll Farmer"
Very sad story, sadly too common these days... Farmer - just do a search on Rehtaeh Parsons
omg. Mikey, I jumped off that lighthouse, it's farther than you think, you must of got a few welts or bruises how you landed , lol, unless you were were feeling no pain!!! : )
Feels like a lot of rain this week. Wed and today was mostly a wash out. Had a few hours of sun this am but mostly cloudy and showers all day.
I missed the jerk pork guy today, saw him walking away but didn't catch up to him. I did try a "swimp" patty from Norman. Pretty good. Seemed like a curry shrimp filling. His veg Patty is still my fav though.
Well, I was very close to no pain territory but when I checked for marksthe next day, nothing. I got lucky. I've posted this before but this pic is from a bad jump at ricks. Attachment 39497 like I said, those days are over.
OUCH. Dang dude....
Ouch is right! thats what the spring breakers looked like after their rum trip to Ricks. ( 2002)
Are you still there, Mikey? We flew out on Sunday, airport was a madhouse. I never did make it to Keneys, we are trying it not time. Glad to know it kind of passed the test you told us about :).
Lady Jane, Thats beautiful. It really is an amazing spot for it. The sunset on the rock is exactly what it looks out upon every evening.
Hussyband, no, I flew out on the 29th. Airport was smooth for me but I dont check any bags so I get to avoid that line. Security and customs was fast too. Immigration at Newark was amazing. I was through in under five minutes. From stepping off the plane to the front door of my apt was just under an hour. I dont think I'll ever get to experience that again in my life.
Rehtaeh Parsons was a Canadian girl who committed suicide after being cyber bullied by a couple of low lifes that sexually assualted her at a drunken high school party and posted the video on line and made her life a nightmare..That is why it is 'Stand up and Speak out' to help break the silence on this happening again. I am a Dad of 3 girls myself and this made my blood boil and still does. A beautiful youg life lost to a couple of A**holes who thought it was funny !
