If I were staying a month, I'd make up a bigger first-aid kit with all the regular medications you keep at home, plus safety pins, band-aids, etc. Other things I'd want to have: batteries, electrical tape (you'd be surprised at the number of things you can use this for!), mini-sewing kit, extra phone charger, memory cards, small pair of scissors, extension cord, small flashlight, and a swiss army knife (or similar tool). I've read about some people bringing a small blender to make smoothies with all the fresh fruit available in Negril.
I can't imagine spending an entire month - lucky you! We are just getting ready to spend our first full week this May - in the past, we've only been able to swing 5 nights because of work obligations. Enjoy!
