OVER TWO YEARS - Soon Come Back was not soon enough

Hello Negril lovers - Mr and Mrs Sweetness here
I know its shocking (ha)
Life is sweet and we are so blessed and happily living in Florida. Mr. got to come back a year ago November when his sister passed but for me its been over two years.
SO - we are coming to visit family and looking for some recommendations for FAMILY accomodations (3 adults and 5 children most over 10 yrs old) last week in February. Any ideas are much appreciated - its a new kinda reach for me :cool:

Nice! My first thought was Treehouse... the beach is so beautiful up that way. Rondel, Travellers? Yellow Bird?

Hey Sweetness....yup, agree with Treehouse or White Sands, Crystal Waters all have family sized accommodation...

thanks Lola and MissB - already bombed out with either date or price at Crystal Waters, Rondel and Citronella, Samsara, Sea Star - have an email in to Treehouse - will check the others.

Don't know if Morass side suits you but Greenleaf behind Best in the West have a couple of houses for rent. Safe and clean and close to SunBeach for daily hangout on the sand.

Seems like just yesterday you were getting married.

This might be a long shot, but their website mentions a 4 bedroom/2bathroom/kitchen cottage at Ansells Thatchwalk on the beach close to town. Website does not indicate price, so you would have to contact them. I have never been on the property, so cannot make any comment re same.

Rob its the GUEST HOUSE that I am interested in and its listed as a unit on the Rooms/Rates Page but no rate below and no photos but sounds perfect. Thanks for the links

Sweetness; you lucky girl. Wish I was planning a family visit. Take a look at Rhodes Hall. Kids can run all over the place. Horses!
And.....rides to town are not too expensive if you guys get the right driver. (Seastar would have been perfect though)

Tagging on a Boog's comment for the bargain that a Hedo DAY PASS may be for you and Mr when you want some alone time. $100/couple, 10am-5pm, breakfast is served until 11-ish and afterward they still have some items out for a while (bagels, lox and capers, oh my!). Lunch @ 1:30? And a couple snack bars around. Drinks made the way you like them. There are several small pools tucked around the property, hot tubs, large shaded beds, loungers along the shore, boat rides, snorkeling and other water sports; seaside massage is available.

I think its only additional $50/couple to have the day & night pass if you want to stay for dinner/evening entertainment. (My friend found a shower with soap and shampoo to freshen up) Night pass is until 2am.

I first went with friends, and it was so nice and reasonable ($50/lady) I've gone back a couple times by myself when craving to taste a variety of foods. The main amenities are on the prude side. You leave your ID's with security at Reception and pick them up on the way out.

Rhodes Hall was an old plantation but beyond that; I don't know the ownership history. It's been operating as a resort for many years now. I only mention if because so many of the popular priced hotels are solidly booked this winter.

Hati Hati is a private property on the beach, lovely historic beachfront home with 1 bedroom and large dining table on the verandah. Directly behind it is a cottage with 2 bedrooms; one which has BUNK BEDS in it for the kids. There is one more cottage behind that, but I forgot what I was told about the beds/rooms in it. Large gas grill in the beach yard. Google...

Hey Sweetness good to see you back. try www.negriltreehouse.com for the Treehouse. I've also stayed at Rhodes Hall and it is a very nice family spot a bit isolated but it should not be a problem for you it wasn't for me have a great time

Well - we got our place for the three nights with the kids and I am excited...We are in a large suite at Travellers. I have been there many times to paint bricks and have lunch but never stayed with them. Gonna be awesome - the kids are going to enjoy it so much. Now on to a single room for me the first three days - that will be easier! Thanks everyone for your ideas. Bless
