Last year it was that wide, but when I was there early dec the water was up to the bar again, good to see the sand back.
Nice crowd too:)
Wow! Can't believe how far the water went down since the middle of December. Must be an additional 10-15 yards.
Hope it's still there on my next reach in April.
But but but .......... I thought the oceans were rising and ALL ocean front properties are to be underwater ! ! Guess the sky is NOT falling.
oh my! beautiful!
That is awesome:)
Hey Captain, did you ever get a chance to check the recorded survey of the beach area and compare with today?
Yes I did......
Hate to tell you this but, after 10 yrs of survey the results were inconclusive......
Cap
Soon come...
Nice!!
Cap, have properties been built closer to the waterline than the past or is there zoning restrictions to such proximity??? Just asking.
Been many years since I have seen that. That is fantastic. Anyone want to explain what happened?
The sand shifts every year, but there were less storms the last couple seasons, which is one of the reasons the beach is eroded.
Great pic kwhizz! thanks for sharing.
