Re: Breakfast on the beach???
Country country is my favorite! Their new restaurant is nice (but I preferred the previous one close to the water which was destroyed by a fire last summer.) The food is still great tho! They have ackee and salt fish but my favorite is their banana pancakes.

Re: Breakfast on the beach???

Country Country, Chill Awhile (Idle Awhile), Charela

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
Charela has a great breakfast. Good price. Also Alfred's is good also.

Where is Pablo's located?

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
I don't know what's good to order at Alfred's for breakfast. Tried it once and was $6 for an egg and hash brown patty (frozen). Coffee extra. Made Country Country way above average in comparison IMO, wish I'd have gone there for much more for 10 bucks, including juice and coffee. Have you tried Treehouse?

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
IMO the cliffs have the best restaurants, you'll be hard pressed to find something comparable on the beach. Have heard Kuyaba has a nice breakfast which would be a fair walk from North of Treehouse. Haven't tried breakfast at Treehouse yet, but I'd give it a shot. Treehouse, CC, Charela, Kuyaba and possibly BarBBarn would be my picks. Ate at Cafe Goa a couple of times, banana pancakes didn't hold a candle to CC's, their breakfast sandwich was decent. Perhaps you'll find a hidden gem, if so, let us know.

Maxine at Firefly made a good omelet. I don't know about the new owners and staff.

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
Over the years I found Alfreds, BarbBarn to name a couple as favorites

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
Anybody remember Cafe Au Lait on Negril Beach??? I know there is a restaurant at Mirage Resort by the same name on the West End??? It was a small little cafe back then with great coffee and breakfast. Anybody remember Eric Lindsey an older Canadian guy who was like a beach preacher spreading the word???

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
Miss Gloria used to make fried eggs, toast, OJ and coffee for a couple $$$ Peppered the eggs!!! Her Banana Bread Edibles were delicious too!!!

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
I love the view from the Treehouse upstairs in the mornings

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
Thanks for all the suggestions I guess we will have to do the walk down the beach then cab it to Pablo's for our fix, hands down IMO he has the best Jamaican breakfast and CC a close second.

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
There was an internet cafe I went to years ago that I think was named Cafe Au Lait . I would use the internet then order breakfast and sit on the porch and eat. It was across the road from beach though.

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
We just finished breakfast at CoCo La Palm. Was good, but still prefer to take a walk to Cafe Goa.

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
Blue Mountain Coffee Shop has great breakfasts. Just past Alfred's on the other side of the road.

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
Miss Lena's Inn Ting is a good breakfast spot. It's located on the beach between Seasplash and Negril Palms at Donaldson's Inn.

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
Pablo's is good at a great price. Beach, although haven't had them all, Colettas for me. That place doesn't get much love here. Best on the cliffs, Sips and Bites for sure IMO

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
I love the banana bread at CoCo La Palm....and to die for French pressed coffee at Sandy Haven

Where is Colettas located again? I know I've had dinner there but it was a little foggy at that point.

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
Pretty much right across from Rooms

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
It's not on the beach, but just across the road from Fun Holiday, Montana's is our new breakfast place. Great food, crazy low prices, we ate breakfast there several days this last visit and with tip never spent more than $J1500 for both of us. Their Jamaican breakfast is amazing, plenty of food and costs $J550. Great folks there too...

Re: Breakfast on the beach???
Alfred's cooks up a good breakfast but the service is lacking to my standards. If I could boyb I would eat there but buy my drinks from vendors that wanted to serve them when I wanted them. To start my day off on a better note I would west end it to sips and bites and eat a better meal in a more timely manner for maybe less money.
