i'm also interested in staying there and would love to hear from ppl . . . tons of great reviews on trip advisor . . .
Had a lovely meal at Tensing...intimate...attentive...pricier...food was excellent...
Will be staying there in April !! Will post a report, almost everyone likes it, from what I've read
We head out Tuesday morning for 12 glorious days at Tensing. This is our 3rd stay there. The grounds are gorgeous, the food is great and the staff is on point. Drinks are a little pricey but we always go to the store up the road for our Ting, Red-Stripe and Appleton needs. Grounds Manager Michael is a good guy can't wait to catch up with him again.
Vikman! YES, aren't you? Someone suggested having the "Anniversery Dinner " here, checking it out....We have 6-10 with ice predicted, with a take off of 9am. See you tmr:)
We greatly prefer dining at Tensing over the much more popular place 2 doors down, but that one is certainly very good also.
Stayed there for e week but only ate few meals there. The meals we did have were very good, but a bit pricey. Just to many dining options to try throughout the area. LTU, Eddies De Bar, Ras Roddy, or Pushcart are all great choices. Oh, don't forget Ahbees for the best burgers on the west end!
1st timers for csa, then tensing for 3 days. We are getting sooooo excited.
Good choices Laura! Tensing and CSA was my favorite split trip. Doing it again in May. 3 days Tensing Pen then 6 at CSA. Been back to CSA yearly but haven't been to Tensing in awhile. REALLY looking forward to it. As far as the food... We had dinner there once when we stayed last and I remember it was good! The trouble with a short cliff stay is that there are just so many good places to eat.Hard to choose!
I told the guys (3) that they could eat all they wanted at csa but we were dieting at tensing...then I started reading about all the food and restaurants nearby, so I guess thats not going to happen! Haha
Yes.. seriously... both the cliff restaurants and CSA are incentives for me to start dieting now. My trips to Negril are the only time the diet goes out the window. Good thing tho is that most of what I eat in Negril is real, fresh food..not processed etc.. feels almost like healthy eating. Now... the frozen drinks are a different story..haha
And I should have added that you can eat relatively inexpensively on the cliffs if you want. Its true that the popular places like Ivans, Rockhouse, Tensing pen etc are a bit pricey but there are also many many "cheap eats" places. Its all good! :)
My first split stay on the cliffs at Tensing in May cant wait!
I usually stay on the Beach what's to do up there?
