Looking for a driver in Negril

I know many here have a regular driver while in and around Negril. Perhaps a few can recommend one for my wife and I while we are in Negril for a couple weeks in late December/early January? It would be great to have a guy that is friendly, funny and very reliable that we can put our trust in while there, and perhaps can supply us with a phone while there.
We usually walk almost everywhere in Negril but with the way things are going these days combined with our own bad experience last time there it would be nice to have a safe ride home when we decide to venture after dark or out of town.
You can just send me a PM if you don't want to give away your guy for when you need him.:)

It's good to have a few #s handy as there's always a chance they'll be busy with airport transfers. I've used Damion James for local rides. He's Kingsley's son, very good person and reasonably priced.

I agree Melody, obviously it's not reasonable to expect one person to be on hot stand-by waiting for a single customer. I hope to arrive at the airport with one "main" guy as well as a couple back-ups.

Lutely you sound like us. I've known Patrick since 1992 - met him on first trip to Jamaica when he had a blue Lauda. Been to his house in Sav. and he's been to my house in Atlanta the one time he traveled off the Island. No driver better than Patrick.

I use Collin from Collin's Tours listed in the transport section here. I think of him more as a friend than a driver. Good guy and great prices plus he goes the extra mile to make sure everything is just right.

Patrick Clarke, Pat's Transportation Service, on the Transportation page of Negril.com has been our driver for over 20 years. He even calls me when he sees a tornado hit Oklahoma to make sure we are ok! He exceeds all your requirements.

when not driving, i've used lloyd haughton from lloyd's transportation.

Yet another vote for CrossJamaicaTours- Owen is a good driver , great person.and has reliable vehicles. We had a special food we wanted but couldn't find anywhere so he had his Auntie make it for us and delivered it to our hotel.
By the way Auntie is an Awesome cook!
He answers website and phone queries promptly too.

Robmop, Patrick showed us pictures of his trip to Atlanta to see you. I actually ran across a picture just last night with his Lauda in the background that we are going to scan and send to him. You've known him about a year longer than we have, no better friend than Patrick and his family.
