Wowza! Day passes in Denver were $40, and you EASILY walked away with that much free stuff, besides smoking to your heart's content!!! I'm sorta glad I didn't attempt to rearrange my trip so I could attend at this point. It'd be fun, I'm sure, but seems spendy in comparison I guess
Ouch!....forget that. Glad I wrote this idea off long before the details were released.
does anyone think that the admission of $269.00 will prevent people from going to to event? Just wanted other opinions. I personally wouldn't spend that kind of money and don't need a 4 day event. One day would be fine for me.
I'm in Negril for those dates and plan on checking out the area. Not sure I'd cough up $269 for admission, though. If there's some sort of walk-up deal I'd consider it.
That price is outrageous, no way I'd ever pay that.
i was kinda hoping for some stellar musical guests to help persuade me to make the journey. while i do love some seminars the price point is a bit steep.
I agree about the pricing. No word on musical guests. And I flat out inquired if there would be two day pricing and they said no. ;(
edit: their response about single day passes: "No, there won't be any single day tickets."
I think that they are screwing themselves by only offering one ticket package.

Was thinking of coming down for it but after seeing that price no way.
Yes. We were excited to learn that this event was taking place during our already planned stay in Negril...then we learned the price. It is not just too steep. It is waaay too steep, like not even in the ballpark. I don't know what they are thinking unless they are planning far more of a mega-event than the web site implies.
I'll be surprised if they don't re-think the day pass option.
Was able to find this info on a design competition for the announcement of the Rastafari Rootzfest:
