First trip to Negril was in March. Then I came for a weekend in May, then back again in August. Not even a week after I came home, I booked my ticket for October. All I do is think about being there. All day. Every day. My family is starting to make me feel guilty about my trips, but I cannot help it! One day I will come and not leave! I love the West End!
I haven't been there yet and I almost feel the same way ;(

I've tried other places (think I must be missing out on something) but keep coming back to Negril. I too am addicted.
My first time was in March of this year and I too can't wait till I make it back. It was by far the most laid back vacation I was ever on! To think of all those times I wasted in AI's in other countries when I could have been in Negril. Oh well live and learn.

This place has that effect on oneself. I started coming here in my twenties, now I'm in my sixties and it still feels like the first time when I'm flying in to MoBay.
After a few trips there I am totally addicted and looking forward to getting back .
That is why the term Soon Come...........has so much meaning.

My first trip was in March (with my sister), headed back in November (with my husband). Now that I'm booked, it's literally ALL I can think about... all day, every day. Desperately hoping it has the same effect on the hubs -- so we can forgo future arguments on "where" we should vacation next... my answer will ALWAYS be Negril....

I've only visited once....so far (I WILL be back!) I absolutely fell in love with it as did my son. My husband prefers Key West (which was our spring trip this year). I'd be happy alternating vacations between the two places :) We are trying Ocho Rios this November, as the price was right, and we're coming with 5 other couples. I'm just hoping I don't constantly compare it to Negril!

I feel you guys! My first trip was to Ocho Rios over 20 years ago. Fell in love with Jamaica! Next visit, Negril.....29 trips and counting....still my go to spot in Jamaica. One trip to Port Antonio, which I did enjoy...but, still missed Negril. Too many friends and good times to let it go. Love the hills and the west end, but Negril still seems like home. I have turned around and found I am growing old there. LOL Happy to still have energy left to keep enjoying all the good times left while I still can.

I'm an old hippie who came in 73. I was 17 and came 3 times that year. I now live here for the last 2 years. Some friends and I built a house on redground 23 years ago. Smartest thing I ever did as I lost everything back in the states. Living rent free now. Ive been mainlining jamaica ever since I arrived.

Yeah, that's pretty serious. I started coming down in 2007, and this year will be my 8-9th trip (not sure). I did come three times last year too, so there were some years in there that we didn't make it to JA.
