Fresh Fruit, Beer - Places to shop along Seven Mile beach area

Wondering where is a good place to buy fresh fruit (grocery mart) and Red Stripe (case preferably) at good prices ?

There may be some fresh fruit at one of the markets in town or along the road. We usually buy from the vendors on the beach, the older woman that sets up between Idle Awhile Villas (formerly Moondance) and Crystal Waters usually has a good selection with fair prices.

What fruits are in season during Dec? I can't wait to indulge... Favorites???

Bananas, the small finger ones are great. Mango (not sure of that one), Papaya, Coconut, Pineapple.

I stand to be corrected but I think mango season starts in March.

Don't buy at the supermarkets, go down toward the bus park and hit up the fruit vendors on your right.

You can buy cases of beers at One Mile store. It is on the road behind Drifters.

We always get our first case of RS at the MegaMart in MoBay on our way to Negril. When it is time to restock, it usually coincides when we need more cash from the ATM so we get both at the roundabout.
