where is everyone's fave place for fried chicken? beach? cliffs?
Other than the fabulous lady down my road who knows to leave the fricassee sauce off my chicken...I think my Negril fav fried chicken comes from the Corner Bar or the Supreme Bar...spicier flavour...yummmm!
Sips and Bites beats everyone.. on island or off
Tried the place in town near the Hammond Bakery/ Patty shop (since they were out of patties.. twice this trip.. pfft) It was not bad.
Trouble with Sips and Bites is they really don't want to do fried chicken and will tell you that it is either not prepped or will take a long time or they just can't do it. Best to call it in..
Only place I had fried chicken was Connie's at Jenny's in the West End. Good stuff. Really good mac n cheese with bacon too!

Fatties across from Shields used to have GREAT fried chicken. Not sure of the status now~~LOVE the chicken in Jamaica it just taste better~~
Bucks restaurant. In the back of the yellowish/greenish building next to the empty lot next to The corner Bar, And they deliver in the area.
Corner Bar
Chicken lavish.
Chicken Lavish also, soon come
I only had the jerk chicken at Chicken Lavish, but had a nice chat with the owner(?) who said he has his own chicken farm. The chicken was extremely tender and delicious and I'm sure that any of his chicken dishes would be great.

I always enjoy the fried chicken at Chicken Lavish.
Doc at Chicken Lavish has the best fried chicken!
Finding a place that has fresh chickens is the best! When I first started going, The chickens were running around the road side grills. Thanks everyone for posting, keep 'em coming because I am almost there.
We had it at Chicken Lavish one time. Very good.
I wasn't too impressed with Chicken Lavish, maybe it was an off day or something. My vote goes to Corner Bar.
Chicken Lavish gets my vote, plus great mashed spuds.
I get mine at Sweet Spot on the beach road and it is delicious.
Corner Bar!!!!
Thanks everyone, the best that I have had was at a little place in the country and I can't remember the name of it and don't know if I will be out that way this time. The woman was very proud of her chicken and her family. I think there was only one table in the place so we had to stand up while eating it but somehow that made it even better. Thanks for the tip of calling it in a head at sips and bites. I'm staying on the beach this time so it would be nice to be able to walk somewhere and have it for lunch.
Pablo's.....Samsara neighborhood....
I call it PFC
Where is Corner Bar?
Corner Bar!
If you go to Corner Bar, try the curried conch, it's almost as good as the chicken fry
Chicken Lavish is good....
My favorite would be Connies C&D for the Fried Chicken and Bacon Mac-n-cheese... cause good sides are just as important.
