Sad news at Blue Cave Castle

I just heard on FB that the owner at BCC let Petrona go. She was one of the main reasons I chose to stay there, all the wonderful things people had said about her on TripAdvisor.

IDK, limiting the clientele to the restaurant and forcing Teddy to leave and now letting Petrona go; bad business.

I really liked the location and coolness of the castle, but I'll probably not go back. Too many other cool places to see and visit.

I did hear that Teddy is now at Treehouse; hopefully Petrona ends up somewhere equally as good.

Yeah, no offense but you have been there one time. I like Petrona very much, and it's a major bummer she's gone. Unfortunately this has been brewing...
I'll be back.

We are staying there in a few weeks, been following the drama on facebook :) but I realize it's just drama. Looking forward to our stay there and I will report back on our stay! Just based on the fact that we will be looking out over the sea and sunsets and all the awesome bars/restaurants, I think it will be pretty awesome.

I just received an email from Petrona on 12/31 /15 ..Petrona has been handling my reservation request and was
making adjustments to my travel schedule...Never had an issue...Very professional...If this is true,,,let me know where she goes...I will book another trip to where ever Petrona, works...

Depends on what you mean by easily?

I walked from BCC up to Canoe and down to Pushcart (with blisters on my feet), plenty of good places to eat in the cliffs.

And Peewee's two doors down has a very inexpensive breakfast.

This is just personal experience... Other places are nearby but I'll refrain from commenting due to not having eaten there.

There are lots of food options close by. Pablo's up across from Samsara, Pressa's just up from Pablo's, Errol's (between the two), Jenny's (up across from Home Sweet Home), Ciao Jamaica, Pee Wee's, No Limit Bar, and not sure if Sypda's is doing jerk right now (across from BCC). There are also some little cookshops around, and some others I'm sure I'm forgetting. That's just in the immediate vicinity (300 yards either way).

Edit: Home Sweet Home has a good restaurant, and if you go a little further up toward Canoe there are several decent bars on the seaside before you get near Canoe...

TAH - I can't picture Pablo's. Where is it in relation to, say, Ras Rody's? Thanks.

It's probably a twenty minute walk from there going toward town, on the same side. If you're leaving BCC, go out the gate to your right, and it's maybe 250 yards up on the left. A little past L&M.

I dont know if the rumors are true in regards to Petrona
I just received another email from Petrona ,on Jan 4, updating my account information
Very business like and professional...Been travelling the rock since "97"
Petrona takes care of her clients and there requests...
No issues from me...all good
