Hi all.
My wife and I will be staying in Negril at the beachclub 2/20-2/27. But we need some suggestions on a place to stay near Ocho Rios till 3/1. It does not have to be right in Ocho, but my wife wants to experience something different from Negril the last few days. We are thinking about doing the luminescent lagoon so someplace close to there would be nice, or someplace close to Rio Bueno so we can tube down the river. Thanks in advance.
i've stayed in and around ochi numerous times and always disappointed! . . . . different vibe for sure . . .
Shaw Park, I've stayed twice and liked it, others not so much, was cheap, ocean 15 ft away from room

Blue House B&B - not on the water though.
My friend and his Jamaican wife stayed at the Fishermans Point in Ocho and really liked it, it is in Ocho..........Quote:

Try Cardiff Hotel and Spa in Runaway bay.
Reggae hostel is affordable and near all shops, attractions... I stayed there last summer. Best trip ever.
Pipers Cove in Runaway Bay
Chrisanns Beach Resort, outside Ochie going towards PA. They have apartments for rent on Homeaway and ect. There a very nice lady that has one right on the end of the row with ocean front. I would have to research her name if interested. Good prices! For sure DIFFERENT vibe!
