Pulled out a couple of items last night just so I can say that I am officially getting ready.

My countdown is months away, 153 days to be exact but I am amped up. I cannot wait til I can start packing! SOON COME, SOON COME! That is what I keep telling myself. Getting through the days with this board, pictures and trip reports!
30 days for us too except we are trying something new Costa Rica....more anxiety because we do not know what we are going to.

Where in Costa Rica are you going? We're still tossing around where to go late March/April, and Costa Rica is on the short list.
My buddy hosted his bachelor's party this past Feb in Tamarindo. We didn't do "much"... bahahaha
The thrill is the thought of going and dreaming about all of the things you are going to do. It has always been a want since we first put our feet on the island back in 88. We have talked about it for years when we retire we want to go for a month. Well we did retire so here we come for a month 8 more sleeps.
Since we didn't go to Negril last year (Mexico instead), the next 50 days seem like they will NEVER pass. I am dying a slow death of waiting!
Our first trip ever to Jamaica soon... but it's not soon enough. I'm ready NOW! Can't wait, a week in Negril and then 4 nights in MoBay.

9 more days!!! Going crazy? Well we booked tickets to leave January 22, drove 2 hrs to airport, boarded plane and then sat on runaway for 2 hrs because of the weather. Then.... the pilot timed out!!!! Nobody on that Spirit flight went to Jamaica that day and by the time our line all the way out of the airport reached the counter to rebook, there was only 1 seat left for the next day! So we had to reschedule our whole trip/work schedule/child care plans. Talk about going crazy!! I can't wait to reach and when I do the first thing I will grab is my Rum Cream! On the plus of this whole fiasco, we will be there for Bob Marley's birthday! Yay!Quote:

hippiegirl - What an awful experience! I can't imagine being ON a plane bound for Negril and then having it all rescheduled. :( Sounds like you're making the best of it.
