Either down between the river and craft market where the fisherman sell their catch, or the seafood shop up in the near west end.
You'll also find fisherman scattered on the beach when they come in from the sea and you can buy directly from them.
I believe the fish monger is before you get to sunshine plaza coming from the traffic circle. I know it's on One Love Drive. Got an incredible snapper from them before. It was enough to feed 4. Fish was kept on ice.
yes, near the hardware store.
If you have the time and transport, the wharf in Sav by the market place offers all kinds of fresh seafood, lobster / small trap fish and deep sea, ie king fish, mahi-mahi, cuda although I had previously thought cuda was poisonous an old fisherman from Treasure Beach told me they leave the fish out and if the ants die it bad, if ants live it good???!!!!

There is a seafood place on Alaska drive just off the westend road. Right across from the Yaught Club before you get to Canoe.
Another is on One Love Drive between Canoe and German Bar, but on the land side.
Johng
Barracuda can be poisonous because they are top of the food chain. Ciguatera Free cannot be determined by seeing if the ants eat it or not. Birds love poison ivy, but I don't recommend that you eat the berries. Toxicity cannot be determined by watching what other species can tolerate.
I remember an old fisherman on the beach named Tim told me that they hang a barracuda in a tree or somewhere and if the ants stay away from it the fish is not safe to eat but if the ants go to it then it is safe. Not sure how true it is but there is plenty of other fish to eat there so no need to even take a chance. I do know that in April I will definitely be trying out lion fish for the first time. Heard so many good things about it I just have to find out for myself how good it is. Soon come :)
