Catcha Falling Star Room Question/Your Preference for Romance

We are arriving on 06/22/2016 and stay through 07/08/2016. Our party consists of out 20 year old, her friend of the same age and our 11 year old. We have reservation for Negril Beach Condos but I want to possibly surprise my husband for our our 22nd Wedding anniversary and thought that staying a few nights at Catcha, just he and I, beginning July 1 (that's our actual anniversary) would be a nice touch.

We have never stayed there before and I hear it is really nice. Is there a particular room that folks prefer? Any input would be great.

I have also looked at Rock House as an option.

Sky or Sagi would be my pick, really depending on if you mind rustic.

sky, venus and aries would be my pick
rockhouse is LOVELY ...the premium villas are something special

We've stayed in Sagi and it was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, however if price wasn't an option I would definitely go for Rockhouse.

Great idea!!! We stayed in Moon and it was fantastic and the following year we stayed in the new construction on the first floor, I cannot remember the name of the room but it cannot be beat!!! You will have a wonderful time, the staff is AMAZING and the food is like no other (can you tell we enjoyed ourselves)!!! Congrats on your wedding anniversary!

That would be Coral on the bottom (Sky is the unit up top) - we stayed there as just after it was built, absolutely loved it! The room is great and that porch is to die for!

2nutz4travel - That's the one!!! Coral was beautiful and that porch was fantastic!!! We moved the sofa around so we could sit and watch TV, with the doors open one evening (it was raining) and eating the amazing jerk penne pasta...OMGosh, I want to be there right now!!!

Rockhouse is definitely more elegant and IMO more private and Romantic. I personally prefer the "old villas" to the premium villas as the location is farther off the road they are quieter, and provide greater privacy and better views. We spent our anniversary there last year. Catcha is great as well you can't go wrong.

So much for summer being the slow months. Catcha and Rockhouse are both booked for my times! ; (

Tensing Pen has rooms available according to their website. It's a nice property and near Catcha. I stayed in one of the pillars and it was beautiful. There isn't much nightlife there, but you could easily walk over to Ivan's restaurant at Catcha if you wanted to have dinner or drinks in the evening.

Any room at Catcha is great if you can get in. It's the resort itself and the staff that makes it so great. We walked over to Tensing this past Nov. , another beautiful setting.

Try the Spa Retreat or the place that starts with LL (name escapes me right now)

My vote is for Tensing Pen. Took at look at availability for your dates and Rock Cottage 1 and 2 are available. Stayed in both and loved them! We also stayed at the other two you mentioned and out of them all Tensing Pen is my favorite! But having said that... I agree with Seveen and maybe also look at Spa Retreat... That on my list for next trip!

I have Sagitarius at Catcha booked for the 21st. Can't wait! Did Spa Retreat last April and it was really nice.

We have stayed in Sky, venus, and the gatehouse cottage.....loved all three.
