There is a little store next to Negril Treehouse (beach side ) -Forgot the name of it, but they have brownies...
The coco bread guy on the beach usually has some cake, be careful though, it can be very strong.

Someone educate me. I'm not a regular user, in fact out of 18 Jamaica trips, last year was the first time ever.
I had a piece of cake, and like a fool that has never read anything, or seen the affect on others, are the entire piece. I was miserable.
The worst part about it was the flavor and the heartburn it gave me... Is it supposed to taste wretched and give you enough acid reflux that a whole roll of tums won't fix it?
Not that it matters, I'm never doing that again.
It affected my stomach too, as did other digestibles. The flavor well, that's how it is, that's the easy part ha ha. You never know how strong or how long it will last. I had no idea what I was doing the first time I ate it late at night, went to sleep and the next day I woke up completely stoned and had to take exams or some kind of structured test, what a difficult and embarrassing morning that was.
I don't eat it, it's too unpredictable and I really don't care for the effect when eaten. Give me a nice spliff, or some wax to vape and it's all good in the hood.
It's not a good beginning for someone's venture into bud. You'd probably have felt great with a single hit off a pax, or even 2 pulls of a joint. (no acid reflux) You might like it the right way.
In December there was a new Gelato Place on the Beach Road sort of close to Times Square and he had a display of Kush Candy he was selling in there.
Help educate the uneducated what is Kush Kandy
Kush Kandy is thc candy. It's just a regular looking piece of hard candy with thc in it. I tried it when I as there in April and it wasn't to strong. I ate a few pieces while laying on the beach and it made my head all fuzzy and happy :)

That's weird, I've never heard of edibles wearing off that fast.
It may have lasted longer but hard to tell when u are consuming the rum as fast as you can and smoking so an hour was just a guess you could say. The Kush Kandy isn't that strong, I think there was only 1.5 mg of thc in it. Definitely wasn't as powerful as some of the brownies and ganja cake I have consumed before. I prefer to smoke than to eat anyways

We shared a brownie after breakfast last October....same day as Joaquin arrived. Sat on the patio of the bar all day and enjoyed the waves and drank rum.....Still felt the affects when it was time for dinner...it was an Irie day!Quote:

I've tried the candy and the cake and other edibles at the local shops and both ganja fests in the last 6 months, I'm still waiting for the buzz. My advice don't bother stick with the real thing.
I think there are those among us more or less immune to oral doses of THC. I've eaten 100mg doses without noticing anything out of the ordinary, and have had multiple homemade treats that had others dropping like flies that just flat out didn't work on me. I'm a heavy daily smoker, but when I vape/smoke/dab I certaoinly get high....eating, not so much. I've never had the kind of experiences I've heard others describe

Anyone get ganj from Farmer Bill by Couples Negril? I'm trying to get the most legit stuff I can, and this guy was recommended a few times.

thedude.....I've smoked my fairshare of Jamaican weed, and if you are expecting CO, CAli quality, you will be sorely disappointed. Don't get me wrong, there is some quality outdoor herb being grown, but if you think you'll commonly find, if at all, dispensary quality weed, you...just...won't. The beauty of Jamaican weed is price relevant to quality. You can buy a QP of seedless or nearly so weed for 60 bucks, but its not going to be the Sour Diesel or Blue Dream or Gorilla Glue that you're used to seeing, nor will be be priced as such (well, it may be initially, but NEVER pay "back home" prices for ANY herb). The fun of Jamaica is being able to roll a joint the size of your forearm, without shedding the tears you might wasting that much weed at home :)
