HELP! Our Accommodations got canceled. We arrive 6/21/16 for 16 nights

I made reservations at Negril Beach Condos several months back with a private owner, paid the deposit and all. Since we are getting close to arrival I emailed to confirm and get final payment details. Apparently they sold the condo and cancelled our reservation! It was a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo for 1,400.00 from June 22-July 8, 2016. I emailed Jean Gaynair a few days ago since they said she could accommodate us and have yet to hear. My husband and I are traveling with my 20 year old and her friend and my 12 year old. We can't exactly wing it and wait until we get there. Any ideas?

Dang it, I'm sure there are places to stay. It's "slow season".

Check with Gail at the Treehouse. She has some nice 2 bedroom units. Also maybe white sands

I think Jean Gaynair can still accommodate you at Negril Beach Club Condos. Give her a chance. It's slow season, you can find a place without too much trouble. Call the FL number as suggested.

I see in 08-09 you stayed at The Point Village. We have a studio suite with a view there that we could rent you but I think you want a 2 bedroom. Let me know if The Point Village is an option as I have a few contacts there with 2 bedroom condo's

Thank you, I appreciate it. We did enjoy Point Village in the past but we would like to be a little closer to the "action" this time. We have a newbie with us so being closer in will be better for us.

We did get a refund of the deposit. Thank Goodness, I didn't want to have to dispute the charge with my credit card company. :)

I believe we will be taken care of at Negril Beach Condos in a different 2 bedroom. Thank goodness, I am so stressed with selling a house and buying a new one right now this didn't help my stress level. We get back home on July 9 and are scheduled to close on the new house July 11, talk about stress and needing another vacation of all that. Good thing I have tickets to come back for Thanksgiving!
