Checking out a few places - never stayed at White Sands. I see they don't offer AI, they apparently do serve breakfast at additional cost. The menu is not posted on line so hard to tell if the restaurant is open all day or what. Anyone stayed here and what are your thoughts on it?

We stayed last November and really liked it. We didn't use the restaurant at all, but it seemed reasonable. They only serve breakfast and lunch - no dinner. There are so many close places to eat, don't worry about it.

Great location on the beach and it reviews very well.
Breakfast onsite is a good start to your day.
Also as mamade said food options are plenty nearby.

Stayed there last year in the one bedroom apartment..it was huge and a great value for the buck..
I'll be there for ten days, had lots of positive recommendations from friends that have stayed there.

Have stayed there several times, great location, good value. Daily 2 for 1 drink specials. You will enjoy it there as long as you are not expecting a 5 star resort.

We just booked 8 nights in Feb at White Sands Deluxe Room. This will be my 2nd time staying at White Sands (6th overall trip). I/We always find ourselves gravitating to White Sands' bar/beach combo. I stayed on the garden side the first time, which was decent enough. This time we are staying on the ocean side. I'd say it's comparable to Negril Palms or Travellers, but a better location on the beach, IMHO

Great location on the beach....
My Fav place on 7 mile beach. The restaurant only has breakfast and lunch with either local fare or american dishes. The cool thing I like is that you can just have them charge your room number for the meals that you can pay at the end of your stay.
