You can't miss it when walking on the beach, from the road it is two properties south/WEST of fun holiday.
I love playing dominoes there. The food is pretty good. There is usually live music on Thursdays early evenings.
Right on man! Give peace a chance! Make love, not war! Hippie flower power! Far-out mon'! Groovy!" Don't take the brown acid". "By the time I get to Woodstock". "No Rain, No Rain". There for all you hippies, just some famous phrases & quotes to get you in the right frame of mind when your chillin' at WOODSTOCK in Negril Jamaica! See you there...don't be square. Respect.
It's between Roots and Rooms. Great place.
This is from April 6th

this place is gonna ............. <<......>>could be?? the new center of the universe:o
and................ look at those chairs
Thanks!
actually, it's just a bar, nothing quite special, except for the fact that it was the boardie bash last April which was amazing, but as far as the bar , I mean , it's good, but in no way would I say its one of the best places on the beach just my opinion @
this place>>>>>>>> was nothing a few yrs back and look at it now>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
...............................................and those chairs are called hurricane chairs?? try lifting one:cool:
Rn - to answer the second half of your question, whenever we've been to Negril, Sir Ds was open each afternoon.
we stay at Rooms next door, not cheap, soon come
Sir D's now your talking. a quaint, lovely place that I would direct any newbie to go...
i was thinking more of the bar chairsAttachment 46642
o .............hi lisa didnt se u sitting there:cool:
I was there last winter and it was becoming a nice place. What those chairs need is a foot rest so your legs aren't dangling and you probably wouldn't get a sore ass. If you look Lisa is not sitting because she does not want a sore ass.
I fell off of one of those damn chairs, and I was hardly even impaired! It was a long way down to the ground! Ouch!!!!
some one squeeze her for me
Lol! Well, they can be pretty brutal.
I believe Sir D's opens around 2pm each day?? I know we got there early one day and it wasn't quite yet open.
Liked the beach cabanas at Woodstock didn't like the drinks or the bartenders attitude when I offered suggestions on how to properly make MY drink.
Sir D's is something very special!

this is the one thing that woodstock is missing......>>>>>quick question do they read here??...rob? {grin}
ya i no its hard to get good help>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.even in jamaica:cool:
[QUOTE=JDd;183370]Eek! "Do they read here?" Not exactly funny in my book!
I've never had a service problem here. I wouldn't call it warm, exactly, but incompetent, no! When I read things like "MY drink", it makes me cringe because it doesn't explain the situation and comes off like you are a demanding and self-centere guest, which probably isn't the case, but... I little respect goes a long way, even when you have to lay it on a little thicker.
Four of us visited Woodstock daily within the past week. We were there for 2 weeks. The bartender Sam was great, as well as Amy, the waitress. We felt very welcome, which made us return each night for their 2 for 1 rum punch happy hour from 4-7pm. The vibes were nice and the prices and food were much better than a tourist trap like Rick's or Margaritaville. I highly recommend it!

Last November when my husband and I stayed at Rooms, they were constantly advertising Woodstock, trying to get people over there. One guy - Nubtali (i'm sure it's spelt incorrect!) came over and chatted up my husband, the guy was really awesome, so finally we decided to go over but Nubtali wasn't there, one of the reasons we were going ! We end up just having a beer and chilled on the lounge chairs a few (definitely not comfortable!) and walked on from there.
Woodstock is beautiful, but need the vibe, Sunnyside was much more exciting !
Question - where is Sir D's?
Sir D's Lookout Birdnest ..is just past Rick's - around the bend
On the Cliffs? Rings a bell, think we stopped at it when we did the One Love Bar Crawl, Thanks !
SIR D's is way out on the Cliffs. Real close to Ricks, great little spot and a chill vibe. Attachment 46668
EEK..............it wasnt meant to be funny>>>>>>>>>>>> ya no coment:(
u shouldnt quote 2 people in 1 quote............
>>>>>just saying..lol..that could cause problems
JDd, I'd love for you to respond to the pm I sent you.
Sammy, you don't need to comment on the rest, so...
As far as Woodstock, I love a good couple of hours spent playing dominoes! One of my favorite activities!!! I'm lucky the help me learn, since I can't read the cards as fast as they can! Excited for more "lessons":
