Looks like Idle Awhile does - I just saw it on their Thanksgiving Dinner post.
Yes saw that but I believe it might be for the Thanksgiving dinner menu that's why I'm inquiring. I love smoked marlin and only had it in Bluefields and have never seen it offered in Negril

A few years ago Norma's at Sea Splash had a great appetizer of thin sliced smoked marlin, capers, thin slices onion, etc..... that was the best I ever had. The marlin was brought in from Port Antonio and had a fine sushi quality to it.
Norma's has changed management and this past April it was still on the menu. It was not quite as good but maybe it was just an off day. Will be trying again in April 2017.

Try the Cliff Hotel (Formerly Moondance Cliffs) I believe I read that Ms. Norma's son and his wife run the restaurant there ........Long shot but never know
They have a smoked marlin capaccio (their spelling :) ) at the Rockhouse restaurant.
I don't know but I'd expect that there are very few fresh caught marlins available. The probable rarity of catching one and size of one might mean it would be frozen before it gets cooked. I'd prefer fresh caught. Not saying it's not gonna happen, I may be totally wrong. Anyone know?

I've seen at least a couple caught off the south shore, pictured in one of the local newspapers. My Dad caught one off Ocho on his honeymoon 57 years ago - beautiful mount that got lost when he sold his restaurant - I was only 14 at the time or I would have grabbed it.

Almost always sliced smoked marlin by the smoked salmon on the breakfast buffet at Couples.
There are several Marlin Tournaments in Jamaica, most on the east from MoBay to Port Antonio. My understanding these tournaments, because there are so many boats and fish caught, are tag and release. As far a catching a Marlin on a charter I do not know what the laws are as far as keeping it / them. I have seen several in Treasure Beach and as is the case little goes to waste. So fresh Marlin on a restaurant menu??? I guess it depends on what fresh means?? Caught that day? I am sure that Marlins have been caught off Negril out in deeper water before so it is possible. Any Marlins caught in other Jamaican waters probably are sold to restaurants in that area. I agree with Mooseman fresh is better but frozen can be almost as good.

Quality at Quality's Sea Breeze can get it for you. He told me he could get any kind of fish I wanted.
