I've been hearing good things about the new managers of the bar/restaurant at Negril Beach Club. I've heard they've done some great improvements. It's called Nylas or something like that. Does anybody have any updates including pictures? I can't wait to get there in 28 days!
I am also interested in a beach club update. There's a lot of us heading there in a couple of months.
can only hope the months pass quick and the bar is fully stocked!
My sister just left and said the new bar/restaurant manager has put a lot of work into sprucing up the place including fresh paint and installing tvs at the bar. The restaurant tables have been moved over to the bar area and also recevied a fresh coat of paint. She said service was excellent and the food was good. Several other people said the same thing. Naila and her staff are eager to please and by all accounts they've been doing just that. These are some pictures that my sister took.

I can't wait to be there in 24 days!!!
Just left 2 weeks ago … returning in new year. Can't say enough good about everyone. Naila, staff, chef, atmosphere … still smiling.
Can someone tell me where about this place is located. Looks interesting, might wanna try it on our upcoming trip.

Negril Beach Club Condos. Really close to Times Square shopping centre … right on beach and open to public. It's new, chill and lovely people.

Might have to do a real long walk this December when we arrive.

Thats about right. Those four shots are great. They are still wrestling with credit card, but prices are really great value. I can only express love to all they have to offer.

Were here also now. I would have to echo Claudias assessment. Music is obnoxious and they refuse to turn it down. No customers in the bar. Drink prices $6 us for cocktails during happy hour. Not sure what regular price is??? $300 Jamaican for a red stripe. Make a stop at Value master if your staying here. Have stayed here for 25 years. I am rethinking that. Rude.
Yesterday's noon special was curried chicken and rice. $16.00 was the price on the black board. The food at Beach House, Alfred's, Travelers ... the old stand by's is great.Quote:

Yes the noisy people left the bar at 2:30 am. No music, but had to listen to them shouting.
We are staying here again in January. Our friend was there in October and she was pretty impressed with the improvements but she did say the prices were a bit of a gouge. I will continue to stock my room as I always do and get my chicken at the Corner Bar or one of the barrels on the road. I know its an investment but you don't have to make it all back in one season! :)
I'll see other Canadians in January. My only complaint was that the curry chicken dish sold out .. fast. It hardly hit the menu board. So many options to fuss over a few dollars on a quality meal. Lots of local options … I'm still bugged the basmati was not ready.
Our condo is near the bar and we are use to the music but the bar always closed by 10pm or so. I hope it isn't as loud as it sounds it is. That doesn't help with the relaxation I go for.
$3 beer isn't horrible when you don't want to climb the stairs but most of ours comes from our room. $6 happy hour drinks don't seem so happy.

Good food and vibe plus drink specials music was fine the two weeks I was there. Lots of positive things going on at Beach Club!
