Barry's Bar

Has this bar been closed and the property sold? Was a nice place for a beer next to Swept Away.

Someone might able to confirm, but my understanding is that Couples Swept Away has purchased that piece of property.

No more tree/sign? That was one of my fav landmarks

Yeah, it's gone. Walked up dere today with Skip n Ernie. We just did the walk around da tree. Tings change mon' always.

Barry's was always a fun little stop on the beach walks. :(

CSA security told us that they bought the property as well, but I didn't ask for proof so please don't blast me if that's not true.

Oh, no! Sad! It was one of my favorite places too.

Negril sold its soul when it allowed Bloody Bay to be ruined . It was my favourite place in Negril , away from the hustle and bustle , and a great place to get an "au natural" tan . I understand that things change , but no clothing optional beach in Negril is hard to understand . I have spent over 50 weeks in Negril , alas I have not been back for over 7 years . I prefer to spend my vacation dollars at places that still offer virgin secluded beaches , without the constant hassles and interruptions .
I'm glad that I was able to see Negril "back in the day " .

Sad !! Enjoyed it there after a long walk up the beach...
