Best Breakfast on the Seven Mile Beach? I need bottom less coffee.
Up here in the great kold ass north we start the day with a huge breakfast and enough coffee to drown a fish. Does anyone have a decent breakfast with bottomless coffee? (they keep filling the cup without charging you for each cup)

Hellow all and happy new year haven't been on the board in awhile. Had to respond to best breakfast on the beach. Coming to Negril for over 30 years so many great breakfasts everywhere would take hours to list them all. But I have to say I think that my favorite is Kuyaba. We have stayed there and the staff always welcomes us back. They smile when they see me coming because they know a lot of food is going to be eaten. Lobster omelette with onions and peppers and cheese. The best JERK SAUSAGE . Always great Ackee and salt fish . Papaya and fruit pancakes. Very good coffee always seems to be served. Everything I could possibly want is on the menu or they will make it for me. Don't remember if the coffee is unlimited couldn't swear to that.

While I can't say I've eaten a lot of places on the beach, of the places I've eaten, I enjoyed Alfred's Ocean Palace's breakfast the most. Nice people there too.

Thank you. I have eaten more than one breakfast at Kuyaba and I agree with you 100%. Many years ago the coffee refills were free. The patio seating was a great place to watch the surf. There was a guy named Tony who sold jewelry on the beach in front of Kuyaba. I don't know why I can remember that %$# when I can't remember where I put my keys.

Re: Best Breakfast on the Seven Mile Beach? I need bottom less coffee.
Haven't stayed on the beach in decades, but on my first trip my favorite breakfast was the gal walking the beach chanting, "Orange juice, pineapple, banana bread, cold red Stripe!" All her treats were piled on her head. She'd carefully bring her load down and provide what you needed. She'd prep the pineapple so you could handle it like a popsicle, the banana bread was still warm and the OJ and Stripes were really cold. Back in the day, cold Red Stripe was often lukewarm. As an early riser who loved strolling the beach while it was so, so quite, she was one of the most charming and welcome aspects of my stay.

Re: Best Breakfast on the Seven Mile Beach? I need bottom less coffee.
I have had breakfast on the beach a lot its my favorite meal and endless refills I have yet to find. My goto place is Charala they sell by the pot and its cheaper than buying by the cup. The only other place I can think of is Treehouse if you buy the buffet they might have free coffee refills. Personally I buy a coffee pot in town for $20 and make my own coffee everyday it is much cheaper for me because I drink a lot of coffee myself. I just donate the pot when we leave. You can buy coffee from Café Goa or from Thunder right on the beach road fresh roasted its amazing. Hope that helps

Not sure about bottomless coffee (except at Mirage which has a free continental breakfast for guests), but Canoe has French Press coffee, which will give you a few refills.

Always enjoyed a mellow breakfast at Coconut International. Sheldon makes a killer lobster omlette. Also a Sunday breakfast at Café Goa with live music and a angry bloody mary.

Cafe Goa was our go to spot. Bottomless coffee, strong wifi, good food, good service, and bottomless fresh roasted coffee make it an easy spot to relax for a couple hours in the morning.
Taxi there and walk down to Times Square for cash at the ATM in the morning. Or just cross the road and hang out on the beach at many of the great spots close by.

Biggs, I second the lobster omelette @ Coconut International with just a hint of hot peppers, garlic, scallions cooked in butter.

Where exactly is Coconut International? I recall seeing it, but can't remember where.

Re: Best Breakfast on the Seven Mile Beach? I need bottom less coffee.
Saeyedoc,
Coco International is on the beach, 2 doors going towards town from Bar B Barn.
Like, just across the street from Coral Seas Garden, but on the beach.
It is also next door to Mom's Place on the beach.
So, You have, Bourbon beach, Bar B barn, Mom's Place, and Coconut International.
Please someone correct me if I am wrong.

I wish I'd known that when we were there, I'd have eaten there every day!
So much instant coffee served in Negril....and charging by the cup can kill the budget in our family.

Re: Best Breakfast on the Seven Mile Beach? I need bottom less coffee.
Yea that's why we always bring a grinder and make sure we have our own coffee maker

I'd have to double check on that. Every trip I stop at Goa once or twice for breakfast, paid for every cup. Pricey too... 200-250 ja a cup. Hotels with breakfast plans are the only bottomless cups I've found. I'm all ears though.

Cafe Goa is the same as Alfreds...one free refill.
I can't think of anywhere either...other than what you mentioned for a bottomless cup.

I go to Walmart and get a $9 coffee maker and give it to the maid at the end of my trip

Negril Treehouse breakfast buffet is $13 per person and if you are staying there it comes with the room. Bottomless coffee and juice.

Treehouse has awesome breakfast with unlimited coffee. Omlets your way, waffles, callaloo, acke/salt fish. Brown stew chicken, grits, oatmeal 3-4 different types of breads(coco, banana),toast, dumplings and occasionally bacon! Lots of fresh fruit, awesome view upstairs and the best staff! Perfect way to start my day!

Always thought of that as a top up. Have to drink it down next time to make it a refill.

Re: Best Breakfast on the Seven Mile Beach? I need bottom less coffee.
You really can't beat Treehouse breakfast....The cooks do change it up. The callaloo is amazing. I always appreciate the beans & franks too. Brownstewed chicken , dumplings mixed in the grits, topped offed with brown sugar. Plus, ham & bacon, omellettes, porridge, hash browns, curried chicken, fruit. juice . coffee.. ackee & saltfish... just tryin' to remember all the great food. Hungry yet?
