I was wondering if there is any stock in and around Negril

Well they will be serving it up at Canoe Bar but not sure as i ever saw it in the little stores.
Yup, saw Clamato at Quality Traders (Green Store) yesterday...bottles (700j+tx) and small cans.
And it is the small bottle, 946 ml.
And i thought getting olives for a martini was tough back in the day!!
Mega Mart, next Sunday!! Gonna stock up.
I drink Bloody Mary's now and getting V8 is hit or miss. I've never seen it at Mega Mart and HiLo either has a dozen big bottles or nothing. It seems like I always see Clamato when looking for V8 though. Olives are getting easier to find but in the early 90's most places didn't know what they were. One person kept asking if I meant aloe. I can't drink a martini (or a Bloody Mary) without olives so I usually bring a small jar with me.
I keep a dozen of these at my place. I also like Bloody or Caesars. This stuff isn't exactly like Clamato in the bottle but it's pretty good

Thanks for the recipe cap,see you in April!
we just picked up some Ceasar Pleaser from Canadian Tire here in Ontario to bring down with us, soon come
I saw the Caesar Pleaser at Shamrock on the checkout counter.
Hahaha! Saw the thread title and knew who had posted it! I will watch this thread to see if there will be a Friday Morning Caesar Party - we'll be there at 8 am!
I doubt you will find the Extra Strength, but hot sauce to add shouldn't be a problem to find! If we start at 8, does he add Rum Cream to his Caesar?
Tobasco and horseradish will be in luggage for sure :) but the rum cream will be reserved for morning coffee and lots of it !! I have passed along Bnewb's post to J&A so they can get us a couple of jugs in our grocery pre-arrival list. 4 more sleeps
I have wondered the same thing, because I am hooked on Michalada's and I am pretty certain I'll be making my own since I've never seen them in JA.

yeah was surprised to see it at Quality Traders.......
Cool Runnings, Marko
The Hi Lo had it just prior the Xmas. There was a display just inside the door as you enter. The display was kinda turned backwards facing the fresh vegetables so if you walked passed the cold beer cooler to your left as you walk in, you'd miss it. They had several boxes there. The Clamato was in plastic bottles but tall, not the short stubby ones.
We also enjoy a Caesar here in the US every now and then. Several years ago we tried one at a dining establishment in Negril. Back in the day this spot was known for making a decent Caesar. However we were totally unimpressed, to us the flavor was waaay off. Which left us wondering...is the Clamato on the island the same as what we can purchase in the states? Motts brand to be more specific. Thanks!
Yes you can buy Motts. Try your next ceasar with gin instead of vodka, you'll never go back.
Success!! J&A were able to pick us up our Clamato supply at Quality Traders !
Hubbie can' wait for that first room ceasar swinging in the hammock, listening to the vibrations of the neighborhood.
Wow, seeing that Caesar Pleaser is a game changer. I just ordered some from canadianfavourites.com. Along with our JA trips, we like to do the occasional cruise. (we sneak liquor onboard, and this will ramp things up considerably). I never thought there was ever an issue finding clamato in the Negril area, tho. it seems that the demand is always there. I know that they make a mean Caesar at Seastar Inn.
