Special Services and Rates for Groups such as weddings, reunions, conventions, etc.

Club MoBay and Club Kingston considers 25 participants or more traveling for the same event over a 2-3 day period, as constituting a group eligible to receive the benefits of our group program. Preferred rates can also be extended to families of ten (10) who are travelling on the same flight.

Arrival: Welcome signs branded with group's logo, arrivals lounge branded as well. Guests who are staying at partner properties that have an arrivals lounge at the airport will be escorted to the respective hotel’s lounge.

Departure: The lounge entrance will be branded with the group's logo and name displayed. They will distribute approved collateral provided by the group to its members utilizing the lounge. My husband booked the arrival service for my sister & I as a surprise. What can we expect at the lounge...drinks? snacks? Thanks....

Yes, snacks and drinks in the arrivals lounge. Finger sandwiches, fruit, soda, beer, alcohol, juices, etc. the scope and availability of snacks does not compare to the the departure lounge, but it's nice for a quick bite after your flight.

Negril.com is now a partner with Club MoBay and Club Kingston. All of the partners are able to offer the pre-booking discount. You can book the departure service at the airport the day you leave but you don't get the discount.

FYI Rob......I have used paypal to book accommodations around the island. I did have to pay the service charge usually absorbed by seller.

That makes sense as receiving PayPal is not allowed yet in Jamaica. The PayPal account has to be set up in a foreign country, the appropriate taxes paid, then somehow transferred to a bank down here.

A driver friend tried this a couple years ago as a test, and out of $100us, they ended up with $67...

I use PayPal to transfer money to my place in Accompong Town. My best friend Marshall controls a card and takes out what I tell him is available in Jamaican Dollars. The ATM gives him that amount in Jamaican Dollars and I get a small service charge along with the conversion rate amount deducted from the account. Works better than any other method I have tried yet.

This is a way for a foreigner to transfer money here, but for a Jamaican business, a foreign account would need to be set up and taxes paid in that country as well as Jamaica.

For a purely Jamaican business, it is really not practical until PayPal allows Jamaica to receive payments.

They do not offer a discount if you book both Arrival and Departure or just A
rrival. Discount is for departure only.

The discount is given on the departure whether purchased in advance alone or in the bundle (arrival & departure). The bundle price is us$80. Arrival is $50 and a non pre-booked departure is $35. So if you book in advance through our link, you get the discount on the departure no matter which way you book.

I used the link on your home page and it still cost me $80 per person.I used the chat link and was told it was $80 per person whether we booked through the negril.com link or directly with them.I think they don't know about the discount offered?I booked anyway as I liked the service, just thought I would throw a little business your way but it seems it doesn't really make a difference.

Club MoBay uses a main booking service and they in turn utilize partners such as Negril.com. Club MoBay wants the emphasis on pre-booking and thus all the online bookings are eligible for the same discount.

By using our Club MoBay and soon Club Kingston link, you are helping to support Negril and Negril.com directly. And you receive the same discount offered by all the booking partners.
