Single Digits!

We've finally reached single digits!

Only 9 days until Negril!

So excited! Jamaica is the first thing I think of when I wake and the last thing before I go to bed
We're itching to BE there already and wish it was the day of departure!
At the same time, we have so many things that need to get done before we can even leave.
(Markus is already hyperventilating.)

We're going with our friend, Jamar. This will be his first time traveling to Jamaica! It's all he can talk about right now, He's been wanting to take this trip for years! I can't believe it's right around the corner!

Who else is down to the single digits?:D

So excited for you though and your report when you return being that you are bringing a newbie with you this time I can't wait to read about it! :)

Meinvancouver – You’re at 5 days! Woo! – Yeah, it’s so hard to focus at work… (as you can probably tell LOL). My productivity is at all time low this week.

I have 6 days and Im getting so anxious, nervous! Had to buy another bag just for in case! Spirit lowered the pounds i can bring and even if the bag is half full is 40 pounds plus! I can't finish packing until saturday night since I work for the next 5 days for 16 hours I wont be able to do anything else until Sat pm and I have to be at the airport at 4 am on sunday so no sleep for me!!!

Cant to be there and finally relax!!!

Clarity, what would you think of sending us a few mini-updates while you're there???? i wouldn't generally ask, but a celebrity of your stature ...... it's just too important for all us to know how you're doing without us having to wait for the news!

Bea - 6 days to go!!
It sounds like your trapped in a whirlwind (16 hour work days!?) that doesn't end until 4 AM Saturday morning when you step on that plane. Hope it goes by fast for you! Then you can exhale, close your eyes and get ready for Jamaica!:D

We'll See you in Negril! I dont know if we'll make it to the Wednesday love shuttle bar crawl but We'll definitely be at Canoe webcast on Thursday. We can start practicing our dance moves for the Jungle then ;)

Gerry - LOL - You crack me up! Yes, I'll try to post a few updates from Jamaica. Markus is bringing his laptop and I know that Seastar + Catcha have WIFI. I'll let you guys know I'm alive and post some pics!:)

I still can't fully believe we're going to be back in Negril in 9 days...

Single digits here also!!! Getting hard to concentrate on things I need to concentrate on! :cool:

I'm still more than two months out, and I do stuff every day in preparation -- the preparation part consumes me! I am still kicking myself for not taking the Traveller's Beach $61 deal preceding my arrival at SeaStar Inn .... Clarity, you have picked the two best properties in terms of 1, Food, and 2, Customer loyalty .... that has got to go a long way!

Also, Catcha even has a laptop that is open for anyone to use.....it is setup at the desk in the restaurant covered area....just sayin

We stayed at Catcha our last trip! It is a great place - great location. You won't be disappointed!

Gerryg123 - I know what you mean about the prep. I have packed and unpacked my suitcase so many times! The hardest thing is trying to squeeze everything into a carry-on. I end up sitting on it and using all my muscle power to zip it shut.. then realizing I forgot another thing, only to struggle with the zipper to pry it open again. It's only six nights and you would think I'm moving to Jamaica.

BTW I'm Looking forward to your next epic on-site trip report in a few months! ;)

1 month for me and have not even thought about a room, maybe I will just go and find one once I get there.

I can wait to dance Thursday away!!

But now I have to worry about Rina! A stupid storm that could go to Florida by Saturday or Sunday and I have to fly to Florida!! Its not going to affect Jamaica but screw my plans since i have to fly over Jamaica and go to Ft Lauderdale then fly south to Jamaica!!!

Clarity we stayed in Pisces - it's really cool - outside shower! I love that. This time we are going to Treasure Beach and then .......Cocoa LaPalm! We do have the same countdown:)

Well I did it, finally finished work. Vacation can now start with only 3 days before getting to paradise.:D

You're flying out early Sunday morning and she doesn't look like she will be hitting Florida by then. She appears heading towards mexico. You should be fine during your flight, maybe a bump or two of turbulance but nothing major. She is also losing speed. Only a few more days now!

(I'm kinda worried about that U turn it's making and I wonder where Rina will be when we fly to Jamaica early next week. My fingers are crossed that it wont be directly in our path. :eek: I'm hoping that she keeps losing speed and ends up just being a tropical storm or depression)

Clariry: Yes we are at Catcha till the 5th and then we move to the beach. Staying in Gemini 2, we got upgraded there last year for $95 a day what a steal. It's gone up some this year but well worth it. You and Markus will love it.

I know you guys will have the Best time.....I can't wait to read your report---Celebrity Blogger---LOL!!! Enjoy! Oh, I've been meaning to ask you Clarity, what camera do you guys own?

Leaving on Nov. 5th can't wait.Even though this is my 20+ time to Negril it still feels great to be counting the days.Looking forward to some sun, sand and red stripe and hanging on the beach.Bringing one newbie this could be entertaining.I read that Luciano is performing the 5th,added bonus.Staying at Legends for about the 10th time, staff and management are always looking forward to our arrival.... (know we came to party) great people.Will be hanging with Rexy, Niah,Big Ross in the west end(old friends)

Still so sad we will miss each other by THIS MUCH (lol).

Sandy-girl - Thanks so much! Only 5 more days to go! We can't wait!!! We mostly used our Sony DSC-H2 Camera- It's about five years old and the snapshot button has fallen off. It works like a charm though. You can get a used one for about 50$ now. I can't recommend this camera enough.

Michele - Thanks! You know, You're the first boardie we ever met! I just wish we knew it at the time! I hope we'll get to meet you again in the future!

FIYAMON - Have a wonderful vacation in Negril - We're looking forward to bringing our first newbie friend too! It's going to be so much fun. Hope We'll see you at the Luciano Concert!

Gorgeous? nooo Thanks for the kind compliment though, Manda, I'm actually terribly camera shy! I'm the one that runs away from cameras, puts her hand over her face or pulls a turtleneck over my head. (i.e. Profile picture haha) I've already taken the group shot pic down.

Yeah! After our first trip to Jamaica, I must have filled out so many online surveys and put my email address in for every vacation sweepstakes under the sun. I didn't win anything, unfortunately, I just get a lot of SPAM now. :(

I hope you'll be able to book those return tickets to Jamaica very soon! I want to hear more about you and Andre. Your trip report had me captivated. I must have clicked into it 100 times a day checking for updates! Everyone was just hanging out in there during your intermissions... waiting for your to write more, eating popcorn and chatting with eachother. lol
