Probably a very low number. If you restrict it to non AI, maybe more.
Actually, a very low number probably, a lot of long time visitors post here, but in April.......Boardies totally take over the town...lol.....
For years, the Negril.com Unique Visitor numbers are in or above the half million range. The numbers of visitors to the village of Negril the last few years have been in the half million range.
For the past 6 years we have been able to correctly predict the JTB's number of visitors to Negril based on our unique visitor traffic. This includes all visitors, AI and non-AI.
As I type this, over 400 are currently reading. Negril.com is ranked today in the top 1% of the top 1% of all the websites being viewed in the USA.
We meet people every day who let us know that they read Negril.com. There are many who we meet from AI's as they want to experience more than just the resort.
When a search is done on any search engine for Negril, Negril.com is either in position 1, 2 or 3.
So from our statistical data as well as our first hand emperical experience, the percentage of visitors to Negril who have at one time or another spent time on Negril.com has to be in high end of the scale.
I would agree with it being a low number. I asked quite a few peeps last month if they were boardies. Most didn't hear of the Message Board.

There is a lot more to Negril.com than the Forums. You may get a different answer if you ask if they were ever on Negril.com.
Many people, even those who we all would consider "Boardies" don't know what a Boardie or the Board is.
The Negril Message Board is located in our Forum section. Some know it as the Negril.com forum.
Much like call in "talk radio" only a small percentage will ever post on a forum board.
However, the number of visits to the entire site speaks for itself

I dont know if I'd be considered a "boardie".. Im a bit of an introvert and haven't introduced myself to anyone in any of my over a dozen trips (even tho I've seen Rob and Lisa and others i recognize from here on many occasions) But i have been on here almost daily for over 10 years.. I absolutely believe that what I learned on here helped stoke my love of Negril. I had a whole list of "must dos" for my second trip from reading Smiths posts. . I miss him..:(
( my year joined and number of posts dont show my long time love of negril.com.. I think when board was changed I lost past standing.)
I can imagine that there are hoards of "lurkers" keeping an eye out for the posts concerning things such as the best place to have lunch, the best day trip excursions, where to go to see the sunset, cheapest place to buy beer etc.... etc.... . They may not join and post questions but they lurk and search out answers.
